Dragon Dreams What Could It Mean

What does it mean when someone dreams of a dragon?

Depends on what the person thinks that it means, since it is the person’s subconscious that’s giving the message so in theory they should subconsciously know the answer. It could mean a number of things: being strong willed and competitive, needing to get more control of something that you may be doing, using anger to get your way and being overly passionate. Again, it really just depends on the person.

What does it mean to have a dream about a dragon?

A dragon is symbolic of libido, that energy that gives life to the body. The dragon is associated with fire. Fire is also libido including passion, the life force including sexuality. For this dragon to be rouring in your ear can be that passion that is rising in you. It's important to be able to chose when to act on this powerful life force. If this life force, libido, passion has you then you can have little ego control over this powerful energy. It's important for you to have enough ego control to manage this life force. Without this control it can lead you to difficulties.Best wishes.

What does it mean when you dream of dragons?

I dreamt of a dragon swimming in a lake. At first I thought it was an eel, but it was really long and in the dream I realized it was a dragon. Kind of an unusual dream for me. I normally dream about situations that are similar to real life. Anything significant about dreaming about a dragon?

What does it mean when a dragon is chasing you in your dream?

Dragon dreams:
Dream 1Psychological Meaning: The dragon sometimes guards the entrance to a cave full of treasure. It symbolises the fears that we must overcome before we can realise the true self. Sometimes the dragon can represent a guardian to the spirit. A Freudian psychologist interprets the dragon symbol to represent the devouring aspect of the mother. It is the resistance that prevents a man from realising the feminine aspect of his nature. You dream could also be saying something about your sexual drive. Dragons have a strong association with fire and therefore passion.

Dream 2Mystical Meaning: In China, the symbol of the dragon is quite different to its Western counterpart. It has amazing power, is highly spiritual and symbolises the wisdom aspect of the mind. To dream about dragons is very auspicious.

What does it mean when you see a komodo dragon in your dream?

I looked into different dream meanings of words that I thought might fit into your dream.
Those words were lizard, lake, dragon, water, swimming, pursuit, chase, staring, and scared. I could not find Komodo dragon/lizard in the dream dictionaries I looked through. Many, if not most, of these mentioned emotion and/or anxiety, some mentioned anger. I'm no dream interpreter but I will attempt to put something together, so take what I give you with a grain of salt.

You passionately distrust, or are bothered by, someone or something. You feel restricted and out of control of the situation. The passion and anxiety you feel are very strong towards this "thing" and you feel more comfortable avoiding it than dealing with it. As a result you have forced it to become an unconscious emotion or possibly you are seeking emotional support for this and have or have not found it. (The fact that it jumped you, or as you put it hopped on you, and stared you in the eyes says that this thing will confront you if you don't confront it first.) <-----This piece is my own personal interpretation from my own symbolic experience.
I would suggest to figure out what it is that you are so passionate about, if you don't already know, and deal with it if you are not doing so already. Do this on your terms and your time before it forces you to do it on it's terms and it's time. Which in the long run I feel is what this dream is trying to get across to you.

What does being a dragon mean?

In most of my dreams, I'm 'human' or human like. I'm not normally very in tune with the form when I dream unless it's really weird or different so I normally just feel kindof shape-shifty and not quite there. I've recently started having dreams where I'm a dragon. They're never the same dream and never the same type of dragon. Sometimes I have wings and other times I don't. (I prefer having wings, because I love to fly in my dreams!) Does anyone know what being a dragon in your dreams mean (in non-lucid dreams?) I mean... If I start to lucid dream, I'll transform into a dragon because... well, they're cool and they can fly!

So, yah, what does it mean?

Here's an illustration of one of the forms I've taken in a non-lucid dream: http://roy-fan-33.deviantart.com/art/My-...

Thanks!

I dream about a small dragon head snake, what does it mean?

You see, the snake could symbolise a problem you're having in real life, like killing baby hamster for example. The colour blue might mean how you are sad and disappointed with this problem, and when you try to run away from it, you acheive nothing and still have the problem. Your guilt is subconciusly leaking into your dreams and your dreams are tormenting you until you face your problems. Now it is strange that the snake has a dragon head because historically, in China, the dragon was the symbol of the Emperor of China. In the Zhou Dynasty, the 5-clawed dragon was assigned to the Son of Heaven, the 4-clawed dragon to the nobles (zhuhou, seigneur), and the 3-clawed dragon to the ministers (daifu). In the Qin Dynasty, the 5-clawed foot dragon was assigned to represent the Emperor while the 4-clawed and 3-clawed dragons were assigned to the commoners. In European-influenced cultures, the dragon has aggressive, warlike connotations and it is conjectured that the Chinese government wishes to avoid using it as a symbol, but most Chinese disagree with this decision. So, this may mean that you posses and agressive personality, and that is the problem you have to face. or your Chinese. Take your pick.
