Alice in Wonderland (about to go down the rabbit hole): "Should I or shouldn't I, you know what they say, 'If you don't explore you will never discover' but, my sister Matilda always says 'look before you leap.' Well, I'm lookin' and it looks pretty deep AND dark, and I can't see the bottom, and MAYBE IT GOES ALL THE WAY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH AND I'LL BE BURNED TO A CRISP! I'm auditioning for a movie and I need a monologue that kind of fits my personality I'm one of those people who when you first meet me I'm really shy and nice but then when you know me I am really crazy and idk goofy i guess and the monologue has to be 1-2 minutes thanks!

I was asked by my theatre teacher to prepare a 2 minute monologue for her class, a dramatic one at that. I've googled around but there's so much stuff that it's hard to find a good one. So, to overview. I need a 2 minute dramatic monolouge for a thirteen year old girl, or around that age, and something school appropriate. It shouldn't be too serious or too crazy, but it shouldnt be boring. I really like the ones hat are about being an actor, being in a play and stuff like that. Please ANSWER ASAP!!

The best monologue is the one within once self. Tear yourself apart (not literally) and see what makes you tick (like a clock). Look at yourself. See what gets your going, what stops you, what can fix you up. That's my advice.

I'm a 12 year old girl & I have a HUGE audition on February 20, and I have to have a monologue no longer than one minute. It has to be from a play or musical, no originals or movies. It must be age/gender appropriate, so I don't want to do anything over the age of 16 or 17 or younger than 10. I've been searchhing everywhere and Google isn't being very good to me...I have two that I like, one from You're A Good Man Charlie Brown and one from Alice's Adventures In Wonderland.
