Where in the world would you live if money was no object?
By the sea. There’s nothing more relaxing than looking out into the endless rows of glittering waves, watching the sun set on another day. Reading on the balcony on a sweltering Saturday afternoon with some ice-cold lemonade, noting the convenience of spying on your neighbours from your high-rise, and all that other good stuff.That being said, the location ultimately matters less than the company. Or in the words of the poet Reynolds, “true sterling happiness and joy/are not with gold allied”. There is little point in a beautiful, expensive home if you’re not surrounded by the people you love, and love you in return. I’d always pick the latter.Thanks for your A2A, Bernard.
