Dreaming Of A Circus What Number Plays

I aspire to play in a pit orchestra. Can you say anything to crush my dreams?

Inexplicably, OP, you’ve A2A’d me.I played in school orchestra, and gave that up for university. I did have my dreams crushed later, with academia. And for all that it’s the worst thing to have happened in my life, I would not take it back. It’s made me who I am.So I don’t know about pit orchestras, although I am grateful for what they do, but I do know about dreams being crushed.Allow me to say some avuncular shit per your request. Some of it will crush your dreams. Some of it should. None of it means you should not pursue the profession.Even the dream job is still just a job. With petty admin shit, with office fights, with jealousies, with long hours, and with not enough personal validation. There’s group validation, as part of a team; but that too is fleeting. It’s work. The pay is shit, and you gotta eat. Expect to be doing a day job. If you’re lucky, it’s a day job with its own set of fulfillments. If you’re unlucky, it’s like your night job, but even worse. Work out whether you’d be cool teaching or not. It’s not a soloist gig, but it’s still a gig to which many are called and few are chosen. (Unless you’re a violist; they’re always in demand, and it’s worth the lameass viola jokes.) Have a plan B. And C, and D. In fact, that applies now for any job ever, but it especially applies to the performing arts. You know what I’d tell starry eyed kids wanting to do a PhD in linguistics? Do it, only if you can’t imagine yourself doing anything else in life. Otherwise, spare yourself the heartache.I’m proud that I talked my best student out of it, and I hope she’s got a fulfilling career as a psychologist somewhere. If your inmost soul craves being in a pit orchestra, Hayley, make it happen. But please go into it with your eyes open. The fact you’re asking this suggests you will. Good luck!*checks profile*Oh and OP? You’re 16. You’re British, which means your uni situation is not as dire as in the US, so you still have time to dip your toe in and change your mind.

I had a dream of riding a roller coaster.?

I took an afternoon nap for a while but something weird happened. I had a dream, and in that dream I was riding a roller coaster alone, all the lights are off and little do I realize that there is a man maybe five to seven seats away from my back while riding the roller coaster it's just the two of us, the whole place was dark oh it was black and white and also there is a radio playing with some strange songs that I don't know. While the roller coaster is running, I saw images, I'm sure of mickey mouse and some clowns in it (those were my confirmations that I am in a carnival or a circus). The roller coaster stopped, and when I was about to go out of it, the exit suddenly fade away and the man at my back went close to me and kissed me tirridly. And I became half awake and still the radio did not stop playing. I woke up and it stopped then I asked my mom if she turned on the radio but she said no. It's strange because the last thing I heard in my dream is the radio. I'm not scared of roller coasters anyway, but I know that it has a meaning and I wanna know what it is.

What does dreaming of being attacked by a cat mean?

Whenever posting a dream it always important to give the complete dream including your gender and the genders of other dream figures. By doing so you will enhance the possibility of more complete answer. Without this information including as much detail as possible any answers you will receive can be compromised. If you are female, a cat often represents the body including life in the body, instinctuality including sexuality.Given the cat is attacking you can represent your not taking good care of your body, for the dream can give back to you the same attitude you carry towards your body.If this fits your circumstances then it's in your best interest to reflect on this, for you have only one body, and good care of your body is essential for health.Best wishes.

How do I choreograph a circus act?

With passion.I begin with the music. The track must inspire, repeatedly, yet be accessible to your desired audience. Finding this perfect piece can often be weeks or months of work.Edit it, shorten, lengthen, chop and swap bits as needed to bring the piece closer to your...Dream. Listen to the music and forget your limits. Imagine the impossible. Fantasise the most powerful, beautiful, movements.I tap a desire to do justice to the highs and lows of the beautiful music my favorite producers create.Visualise. That amazing beginning, or that perfect moment you saw to match that drop... or that beautiful sequence... If only you could...Well. We can't do everything, but we can often do much more than we first think. Visualise those perfect moments but substitute the impossible moves with ones closer to your skills, but still pushing your limits... "It would work, but only if I timed it perfectly.." etc.Play. This is where you will find that some things don't work like you dreamed, but stay motivated, listen to the beauty in the track, remember your visions. Certain moments of perfection will reveal themselves. Hold them close, adapt the rest.Refine. The essence of the piece should now be revealing itself. Smooth those connections. Tune those technicalities. Work around the gaps, answers will come.Eat. Sleep. Drink. Dance. Listen to other music, play with something else.Refine again...and then show someone you trust, this fragile, impermanent, shadow of your dream, and take the honest feedback, it may sting, but the piece will be stronger for it.Refine again...and just before you think it's ready.... perform it.Do it with confidence and spirit. Do it with authenticity. It won't be exactly as you envision, but it will be enough, and they will see it and appreciate.Continue to refine and perform... This step only ends when you give up the piece. Hopefully you touched many people with it and can be proud of living your dreams.

Do you remember dreams from early childhood?

I have several but one I had so often it was a puzzle to me for years. I was walking down a black oil road. I looked behind me and the road turned into a huge black snake. It was rolling up behind me its mouth opened to eat me. I ran as fast as I could . I saw a little man sitting on the side of the road wearing a sombrero. I knew if I could get to him I would be safe. I never reached him I started screaming as the snake chased me. My father would come and hold me and promise he would kill the snake no matter how big it was. I had the dream all my life till I married and other nightmares edged out the snake. One day when my kids were young I was on my way somewhere. They were capping a well and taking up the wooden road to the oil well. It was huge 8 feet tall at least rolled up in a huge coil. Huge ropes like those used on ships were rolled up. The ropes looked like that man in the sombrero. I pulled the car over. There was the origin of my dream. As a child I visited drilling rigs with my father often. The roads were often just scraped out of the forest oiled to keep down the dust. I had driven over those wooden roads many times. I had never seen one rolled up before that I could remember. Dream solved.

What does it mean if you dream about your twin flame every night since you decided to surrender? Also seeing 11s?

HiSorry to make you wait. I just saw your request for an answer and here I am writing it. Twin flame, above all else isn't a concept. Its the reality of one soul which splits in two when it enters the material world of polarities. The nos. '11' and '1111' are significant to twinflames as well as a sign of spiritual ascension. It signifies 'infinity'. If you happen to see if often herr and there then its a sign from the higher realms, can be angels or spirit guides that your twin flame is near or in your life already. It also means you are about to or already going through spiritual awakening/ evolution. Above all, pay heed to nos. specially if you see them in pairs often. Besides, '11' or '1111'. The no. 333 is also important for twinflames.Hope it helpsregards

Should we wake the Republicans from their wet dreams of Benghazi damaging Hillary Clinton?

We already know the truth about Benghazi. The Republicans cut funding so that the state department could not provide enough security. Terrorists killed an American diplomat, and Obama came right out and said it, although he did not name names because at that time details were scarce. If we want to prevent future killings, Congress should provide more money for better security.

What feelings are conveyed by MY Poem? Circle Circus?

The emotions conveyed are raw and edgy: bitterness, frustration, hostility and distrust taped over a heart of despair. Snarling like a trapped animal, ready to bite the hand of any would-be tormentor or rescuer. Is the lack of spacing between commas meant to convey a visual jagged effect? I like the way the image of the circle with its original implication of a tightening noose is revealed as more of a magic circle created to ward off danger, although riddled with holes.

This is not a Ringling Bros. circus but a Circus Maximus, There is a lot of bravado here. The souls drawn in through the “open doors” to the arena that feed and create hate like lions circling their prey in a coliseum are characterized as “weak.” Those described as trying to calm and console are characterized as “clowns” but appear as a foreboding threat of a potential fall from the high wire: a reference to the metaphor from the song “Send in the Clowns.” The concept of clowns sent to distract the audience from disaster within the ring echoes the earlier phrase of “laughter reigns.” Observers are oblivious to the pain and fear of the soul desperately weaving his magic circle.

I like the viewpoint that everyone exists in an separate arena, with the threat of entering others’ circles perceived to be as dangerous as them entering your own. “Enter my circus they tempt, ever delightful, but cruel.” The line “Love rain down upon me.Now!” is issued like a challenge to the gods for more torment.

I like the ambiguity of the last line: “Does this f--ked up circus ever end?” Whether the narrator is doomed to scurry around his magic circle shutting gates, or whether he will be able to emerge from his circus of hell is left to the reader's interpretation.

A lot of strong energy. A lot of intertwining and almost contradictory metaphors. A lot of emotion. It’s an intense poem.
