What are the side effects of drinking jello before it gels?
I can't stand eating jello when it's gelled, but I need the gelatin for my nails & hair to be healthy. So, I take a 44 oz cup & fill it with warm/ hot water. In that, I stir a package of jello & drink it before it cools & gels. My sister claims it causes it to rot in my stomach & will cause gas. I've done this drink thing several times & always end up bloated & with tummy pain. I did however notice that I get bloated with almost everything I eat anymore, so I don't think it is just the jello drink. Does anyone know of any bad side effects of drinking un-gelled jello?

Wow. Why didn't someone think of this question sooner? I have two additions to the list - Lime slice jello shots which are a variation of Andrew Roberts's post above..and a variation of the incredibly tasty chocolate pudding shots devised by my ingenious girlfriend.Lime slice jello shots Cut limes in half and hollow out the peel. You can using a paring knife to loosen the citrus portion.Boil a cup of water and add the jello mixture. You can use any red colored jello for this like strawberry or watermelon.Once the jello dissolves, add a cup of vodka and stir in. Make sure the water is warm and not boiling at the time so that the alcohol doesn't boil off.Pour into the lime peel and store in a freezer overnight.Quarter each slice carefully and they are ready to serve.Here's a link to the the blog with this recipe as well as recipes for some other neat looking jello shots. http://www.thatssomichelle.com/2...Pudding shots Mix a package of instant chocolate pudding mix with 3/4 cup of milk.Add 1/4 cup of vodka, 1/4 cup of Baileys and 1/4 cup of chocolate chili liqueur (pictured below). its just really sugary, so probably not a great thing to drink becasue of that.
What brand of Vodka can I use for making Jello shots?
The brand is entirely up to you - but if it was me I’d go budget brand like Absolut or Stoli and you can have a lot of mixing the flavored vodka with jello flavors - off the top of my head I would say Strawberry Jello with Absolut Peppar. You don’t need to use a high end vodka on this type of shot but use something that isn’t rot gut and play with the flavor combos.
Can i make jello shots with pre-made jello?
this might be a really stupid question but im a little tipsy haha. i was wondering if you theres a way to add alcohol to the jello cups you buy at the grocery store? and if so, will these taste the same as jello shots? thanks! :)

You can do several things to help hair growth. The best is to take some vitamin E or increase vitamin E in your diet. Also scalp massage, getting regular trims, and some people swear by using horse shampoo and conditioner (gives you silky and shiney hair).
How long will jello shots stay good?
Oh, you get WAYYYYYYY more than 2 days. I've had some for up to a month and beyond, and they are perfectly fine. You can make at least 4 or 5 days ahead if you need to and don't want them to be "too old". Oh, and use cherry rum with cherry jello, and it is delicious!
Can you make juice with Jello powder ?
I only have milk and water to drink at my house but i don't feel like either, And it is 1:04 at night... well morning i guess lol. So i was wondering if i can make juice out of Jello and if i can. how do you do it ? Thank you for your time.
