Are the iPhone 7 earphones waterproof?
None of the earpods or airpods made by apple are waterproof but they can resist water from damaging them upto some extent but i would suggest you not dunk any apple product in the water except apple watch since it can withstand water for half an hour.Also, don't dunk iPhone 7 in water too because it can resist only water splashes as it carries IP67 rating only. Your iPhone would be safe in rains or some accidental drops in water but it's better to be safe.
Earphones submerged in water?
A few months ago I had put my earphones in the washing machine by accident. That was a few months back, will I still be able to use them? They are good quality, it came with my Galaxy s4. Please help me.
Why do my earphones make everything sound like under water when I stick them in my computer?
I have Nokia earphones that I got with my MusicXpress, and they act exactly the exact same way. The sound in the human-voice range becomes really really garbled.Over time,I learned how to use it relatively well:1. If your earphones have a button (generally for answering calls, etc), if that's pressed the sound comes nice, but if not pressed, sound is garbled. I use a clip to hold the button pressed mainly ;)2. When on a computer, you can adjust the balance of your audio output to 100% left or 100% right. Then the sound comes okay, although sound from 1 station is missing, but the vocals come ideal.3. Downmix to mono. Not supported in Windows 7 & Linux by default, but there are plugging that can do it (such as DFX)
Would a submerged phone still ring?
No. Water, especially sea water, will kill the phone. Plus chances are he will not get service.

The problem is still there is some dust or water left in your earphone ear bud. For repairing it just place the earphones in hot sun light this make the water to dry and dust to release in air.Another option is if you have a hair dryer, just switch on the heat mode and set it to 2 and place it near the ear bud this will remove the dust as well as dry the wet water inside the ear buds.

I washed mine in my pants and they went through the dryer and came out fine. Let them dry really well before using and you should be fine. Don’t try to use a hair dryer on them. The EarPods use paper drivers which is best to let dry naturally. You could put them in rice, but it’s not necessary.Unrelated Suggestion: I recommend downloading the JetAudio player. It’s free and it gives you a 10 band EQ to tailor the sound of those headphones or any playback source. It even has a high resolution audio engine that gives low and high quality files more headroom. If you pay for the app you can get a 20 band EQ and more features. These headphones sound great if you tweak them a little!
My skull candy earphones fell in soapy water. What should I do?

Submerge earbuds in cleaning solution?
I'm going to summarize here. I have a pair of iPod headphones (standard apple earbuds) that I believe may have come in contact with urine. I don't want to take any chances and just keep using them as is (not sure about eat infections, but it's just plain disgusting). I don't want to just stop using them, as they still work just fine, so I was wondering if they could be thoroughly cleaned somehow. I was thinking about submerging them in some isopropyl alcohol, but that's still like 10% water, so I doubt that would be a good idea. I'm looking for better suggestions. Thanks in advance.
Is it safe to use headphones or earphones with a waterproof phone when the phone is submerged in water but the head/earphones aren't submerged?
There is no such thing as a truly waterproof phone. Water resistant, yes, but the longer the device is exposed to the water, the greater chance of exposure of water to the internal circuitry. So, if you want to potentially replace your phone after a swim, knock yourself out.
