Electrical Engineering Or Actuary Help

Electrical engineering vs biochemistry?

I'm really in love with math & science, so I'n deciding on engineering or medical fields. I'm going to be a senior in highschool, and i don't know which major to choose?

Actuary Maths vs Engineering Maths?

I am currently studying engineering, aiming to change course for next year since im not finding it
interesting. I always wondered whats so hard about actuary or accountancy maths?

A level maths you need a B to do masters in engineering and you need an A for actuary and accoutancy..

(ABB for masters in engineering) (AAA for actuary and accountancy)

I just dont see how the maths can be harder than engineering maths? So im asking what exactly is so hard about actuary or accountancy maths?

Engineering vs Actuary?

Actuarial exams are very hard and the pass rate is not very high. Do research on that. You have to be very much above average in math and statistics to pass Actuarial Exams. Yes, you will get a fat paycheck being an Actuary, but will be bound to an office.

Engineering is also hard, but has more scope to work outside an office. I would consider the Engineering job. The scope is wider.

Which major is suitable for girls, electrical engineering or actuarial science?

Both.

I want to switch from mechatronics engineering to actuarial studies?

I am about to complete my mechatronics engineering degree but now i want to switch to actuarial studies coz i have realized i cant do engineering and i was always good at maths n finances and wanted to do actuarial studies too...what i want to ask is that do i have to do bachelors degree in actuarial std or can i directly go to masters coz i already have a bachelor qualification, though not in actuarial studies?
Is there any way i can switch to a finance masters degree without having any practical experience related to engineering?

Is actuarial science tougher than engineering?

I haven’t studied engineering but my guess is yes, due to the following reasons:there are 15 papers to passthe paper level is challenging and requires significant amount of effortfor many papers you will study alongside working with latter getting priority most timesits a professional course (e.g. chartered accountancy) as against a college degree coursethe syllabus is completely based on Uk material so it’s very real world and hence more complexyou will eventually be responsible for managing the risk of an entire company (if appointed to such a position e.g. appointed actuary). These positions can only be held by a qualified actuary. Hence the training will certainly be more rigorous considering the potential responsibility you might bear!

I need some help with engineering math ...?

1.) Always possible. The parallelogram method is just the geometric (or visual) way of breaking a vector down into its components. If the two vectors are parallel, then the parallelograms you draw around each vector will have sides which are parallel with each other. Thus, the components will be parallel and can be added in much the same way as you would add the two original vectors. Algebraically, we can see that this is a consequence of being able to decompose vectors:
A = (a1)i + (a2)j + (a3)k + ...
B = (b1)i + (b2)j + (b3)k + ...
A + B = (a1 + b1)i + (a2 + b2)j + (a3 + b3)k + ...

2.) You have two vectors, A and B.
A + B = A - B
B = -B
2B = 0
So regardless of the value of A, B will always have a magnitude of 0.

Is maths more difficult in engineering than actuarial science?

In engineering almost all subjects have numerical problems and these are very applicable in practical field so every engineer should be good in mathIf you will practice you will find maths very easy but if you will not practice then maths will be night mare.But most of the engineers will said that maths is difficult but its not like that .Most of the engineer find maths dificult because usually most of the engineer s start studying or practice before one night or before 2, 3 night from the exam…. So they find it difficult…..Even I did the same in 1st&2nd sem (even through I have studied samethings in class 11&12 then also ) and I found it difficult to even pass….. But when I started to practice regularly from 3rd sem I found numericals are more easy then theories…
