What was your first impression of your best friend?

Honestly I didn't think of him as a good person. He is really very good looking and I had this issue that he will be rude in nature. But honestly he turned out being totally opposite of that. And when we started talking, we found out we have many things in common. Soon the meetings became often and phone calls were of longer duration. Today, I feel the best when I am around him and I just go to some other world when I am with him. We reads my mind and has the reason for why I have mentioned some statement. We can just talk about anything for hours. It feels as if when we are together, we don't need anyone around. We have alot difference. He is shy but I am expressive in natureHe is a boy I am a girl.He is fairer than me.I love reading novels but he hates them.He is an extrovert but i am less than him.But after all this at the end of the day, I know we love each other alot.

Why do people think first impressions would be important for making friends?

Yes because that would be the basis for them to psycho your personality, if in your first meeting you look terror they have the empression that your an ill mannered person.

What is perception and why is it important?

Perception is the awareness of something through the senses. In other words it's the ability to see, hear, understand or become aware of something. Perception is important due to the following reasons:It's a physiological process through which everything is this world is interpreted and understood. It's the way people perceive things that defines their character and attitude. Kindness, hate, love and all other emotions originate from one's perceptions about something. It's just perception which defines what happiness means to a person. For some earning money is happiness, for some spending money is happiness.Human perception towards god is the main reason why are having so many religions today. It not just shows that perceptions are varied but also perceptions of a few have the ability to influence the mankind as a whole.Perceptions help in shaping up a person's goal and his/her outlook on life. It's the thing that initiates anyone to find their purpose in life.By now I hope that you'd have got an idea of what perception is. :)

Interested or not interested?

I’ve noticed a girl in my class and I find her attractive. I have never talked to her and don’t know her name. Last week after class ended there was a line to get out the door, I was zoned out while waiting in line and happened to be looking at her and noticed she looked back and at me and for a split second gave off a sort of startled empression. Today I noticed after class she looked over at me as she was leaving and then when I left she was standing out in the hall looking at her phone where i would have to walk past her. A preconception I have is that she is the shy type and probably does not have guys approaching her often. She isnt the world’s most attractive girl, but she reminds me of an old friend I was close with which I think is where the attraction I have comes from. Does anyone have any opinion on this before I attempt to go up to her and risk being embarrassed.

What is the best imagination one can have in their life?

I don't know about the best, but these are some of the greatest imaginations which surely contributed in a great way the humanity evolved,Nikol Tesla, from breakthrough discoveries to pigeonsIt is said that all the great discoveries by this most amazing and gravely underestimated scientist were originated from the imaginations or hallucination. Now, what can be more outstanding? This man imagined everything from electricity to earth's gravitational field and then proved it. In his last days, he confessed his love for a pigeon which he founds out to be his soul mate and only friend. Newton about gravitationIt takes a huge level of imagination to think about something as invisible, as prevalent and as dominating as a gravitational force just with a fall of an apple.Dmitri Mendeleev about Periodic TableIt is commonly believed that Mendeleev got a vision of 2 headed snake in his dreams. This gave him an idea to constitute the then known 118 elements into a table which accurately lefts the positions for the undiscovered elements and their properties.Michael Faraday imagining electromagnetic inductionIt is believed that Faraday imagined whole electromagnetism and North-South polarization of earth's Magnetic Field. These are few which I am able to recall as of now, will try to update this list soon.

How is Mathematics used in the modern world?

It is used in the most useful way.Since, I don’t think this is the kind of answer you were expecting I would like to take the liberty to change the topic to - ‘Where/In what fields is/are Mathematics used in the modern world?’.First, we should know that Mathematics does not have a formal definition. The major reason to this is that when concepts/things become subtler and more integrated in our life, it becomes more complex for us, humans, to define it.I feel that Mathematics is an integral part of our life, linked to all other aspects of existence more closely than we can imagine.Math is everywhere. Mathematics is the sole objective language humans understand.Consider this case, you want to express how spicy some pepper is, you tell your friend its very spicy. Ok, he knows its spicy but he can definitely not relate to it unless you give that pepper to him or tell him the SHU(Scoville Heat Units) of the pepper which is a number expression of the pungency of pepper. See my point? Now coming to the straight-forward answer which most people will give, the fields where Math is excessively used.Every objective thing you see around has math integrated into them,Widely used in every kind of technology human has ever invented, from the circular wheel to the Internet.Advanced and Abstract Math are mostly used to make sense out of other Scientific concepts, especially, Physics and Chemistry(some fields in Chem).Math is everywhere, if we don’t see it somewhere, it’s just our lack of the higher mathematical knowledge.
