Essay Help On The Waterfront

Can online dating help you find real love?

I met my wife on Free Online Dating | OkCupid, so I'd have to say yes you can find "true love" on dating sites.  The key that I found on those is to just use it to meet people who live close to you, then take it offline and try a real in person relationship.  I chatted with several women for extended periods thinking I had a real connection, but then when we met in person there was nothing there for either of us.  The lesson I learned is to screen for what you are looking for, and then do something simple for the first date like go out to eat.  You have to eat anyway, so go eat, and if it doesn't work out you can move on with your life.  I also tried a few long distance relationships, those didn't work because we couldn't get enough time together to really build a relationship, it's hard to do things like go out with friends or see how the other person is managing their household when you are many hours away, and the only way to get past that is to take a huge risk and have one of you move closer. If it does work out, then you can do something like my wife and I did, we went out to eat, then went for a walk in the park since things were going so well.  When the park closed 3-4 hours later we reluctantly said our goodbyes and scheduled another date. Here's a bit more of our story if you are interested. How Do I Know When I've Met "The One?"If you are having issues getting dates, here's a great video that may help you in making that initial connection.

Do the CSU schools not require essays?

The Cal State University system does not require essays for undergraduate application. Please help geography?

Match the terms with the definitions.

Term Definition
Pressure A) Affects temperature, moisture, and storm tracks.
Oceans B) Despite being at similar latitudes, continental locations have a larger seasonal range in temperature than waterfront locations.
Mountains C) Prevailing winds influence how a body of water affects climate.
Land vs Water D) Sea surface temperature influences air temperature and evaporation rates.
Latitude E) Temperature generally decreases with altitude.
Geographic position F) Affects temperature by influencing the seasonal range of solar intensity.

POINT VALUE: 60

In a clearly written and well-developed paragraph, explain in your own words the difference between weather and climate.

POINT VALUE: 10 point

In a clearly written and well-developed paragraph, explain three ways weather and climate affect the health and well-being of people?

POINT VALUE: 10 point

Name 3 decisions you frequently make based on the weather and how does the weather affect each decision specifically? For example, if it's raining outside, I need an umbrella.

POINT VALUE: 10 point

Think about where you live. Describe how at least two of the above climate controls (latitude, mountains, geographic position, land vs. water, oceans, pressure) affect your weather. Be sure to write clearly and with details that help explain your answer.

Big precalculus math question?

Classic problem, lol.

Sorry, I don't have paint or photbucket :(

It took 2 hrs to find the person
-by then, plane A traveled 800 miles in a straight line
-Plane B traveled 1000 miles at a 45 degree angle
-this would create a 45, 45, 90 right triangle
(plane A is bottom line, plane B is the hypotenuse and there is a straight line in between them constituting distance)
-using this formula: a^2+b^2= c^2, accordingly (slightly different with different variable representations) you would get that the variable that represents the distance between two planes is 600 miles

Plane B is thus 600 miles away from plane A

Plane B would just need to go straight south to get to plane A, as this is a right triangle

Since it is going 500 miles/hr and needs to go 600 miles to get to Plane A, it will take 1 hr 12 minutes (600/500=1.2= 1 hr 12)

Final answers:
1) Plane B is 600 miles away from Plane A
2) Plane B needs to go due south to get to Plane A
3) Will take 1 hr 12 minutes

Hope this helps- If you have any other questions about this, I will be glad to help- just leave a comment or email me

What is it like to be on an archaeological excavation site?

One of the really amazing digs I took part in when I was a teenager was on Midsummer Hill, the next southernmost of the Malvern Hills in Herefordshire. I was set to excavating the gatehouse to an Iron Age hill fort which had been inhabited for 4000 years before the Romans sacked it in around 43 AD. The last ‘ring’ of earth, which indicated the very last gatepost was all black. From up there on Midsummer Hill you could see right the way across the plain … and hear everything which went on down in the valley below. You could really imagine the inhabitants of Midsummer Hill seeing hill fort after hill fort burning in the distance, knowing that it was their turn soon.Another high spot was finding the base of a piece of Samian ware in the ‘driveway’ to a Roman villa, abandoned in the early 400s AD, just after the Roman troops had left Britannia.A ‘low spot’, though, was being sent down a hole just down the hill from Pudding Lane (near the Tower of London) to excavate a Roman villa which had been on the waterfront when it was Londinium, rather than London. There was no digging - you carved the thick London clay out of the sides of the hole and handed plate-sized slices up to the people above. We found all sorts of amazing things, though, because the ground was both anaerobic and wet: the elm gutters of the villa (which looked just like the Victorian ones I later saw on terraced houses in Blackburn) and someone even found a leather bikini! All the digs, though, were amazing experiences, even though it sometimes didn’t feel like it at the time!
