Will Obama's efforts to 'prove' he loves America be successful ?
It would be tough with all the unpatriotic friends and associates he's had in the past. And he's so busy trying to win the European votes....not sure if he realizes, they don't vote. Every time he mentions america, he talks about how it was once great and we need to go back to that. When was it better than now? I don't think he was talking about the time of slavery, so the brings it to after 1865. Then with the Jim Crow laws, I don't think he means that..... so we are into the mid 60's. But then we were divided by the Vietnam war and racial violence. So that brings us to 1980. The Reagan-Bush years. I don't think he means that either. Maybe the Clinton years, when we had our heads in the sand about terrorism? Then why would he run against Hilary, if that was it? So it couldn't have been the 90's. And certainly not the current Bush. So, I wonder....when were we once so much greater than we are now?
Why does America love Barack Obama?
Because he is the first black president. Everyone who loves him is in denial about his qualifications and refuse to see the faults in him. I like Obama, but just because he is the first black president doesnt automatically make him the best thing thats ever happend to this country. It is a great victory for the African American race as a whole, but thats it. Now that he is in office he has to do the job he agreed to do: "Faithfully execute the office of president of the United States." Its about how he does in office not how many caucuses or primaries he won.

How can Obama love America if he wants to "fundamentally transform" it?
He does not love America. If he loved it he would not want to FUNDAMENTALLY change it. America is not perfect but it is the greatest country on earth (at least it was 3 1/2 years ago). If you love your country you want to improve it but you do not FUNDAMENTALLY change it. This country is based FUNDAMENTALLY on individual freedom. So what does FUNDAMENTAL change mean? It means taking away your freedoms and that is exactly what Barack Obama is intent on doing. He thinks that he knows better than you how you should lead your life. He thinks that you are incapable of taking care of yourself and you need the government to do everything for you. His mother was a communist. His father and step father were communists. He boasted in his autobiography of seeking out Marxist professors. He has filled his cabinet with avowed communists. The FUNDAMENTALS of Marxism is "from each according to his abilities; to each according to his needs" and "redistribution of wealth." I do not want FUNDAMENTAL change. I like freedom.
