Ex Muslim Christian Brother Needs Help

Does Islam teach help non Muslim if Muslim are called for help?

Chapter 2 verse 177 of Qura’n the Clear book goes as below:Righteousness is [in] one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets and gives wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help], and for freeing slaves; [and who] establishes prayer and gives zakah; [those who] fulfill their promise when they promise; and [those who] are patient in poverty and hardship and during battle. Those are the ones who have been true, and it is those who are the righteous. (177)In a way the above guideline defines the true human being focusing to help other humans irrespective of what religion the seekers of help belong to.I am aware of organisations run by Muslims that go to help needy purely on the basis of their needs like slum areas etc. A true practising Muslim is recognised in Islam when he helps any being that has been created by Allah the SuperCreator. The only exception is when an apparent seeker of help is not genuine but a pretender aiming at causing harm to believers. Hence verification of a seekers circumstances is permitted. There are many more Ayahs in the Book that repeatedly remind Muslims to care for humanity irrespective of the seekers religion and not just Muslims.Hope it helps the understanding on the topic raised.

If a Muslim denounce or murtad from Islam can he/she inherit his parents property ?

I'm pretty sure that when the Quran describes inheritance, it does not put the requirement that the heirs must also be Muslim.

Should potential Muslim converts consult ex-Muslims first before deciding whether to convert?

They definitely do that. It doesn't necessarily take the form of one-to-one communication with ex Muslims. They find the opinions online. However, they are so smart and become the Angel's advocate. After the research, they find that there is a difference in the mentality between the person who is looking for the truth, themselves. And the person who turns against his belief system, the ex Muslim.Islam is not a product that an ex Muslim can write a bad review about then expect to succeed in turning the potential customers against it.Furthermore, Converting to Islam happens like falling in love. A man decides to convert because Islam hit his heart. A very simple piece of information usually is behind the conversion decision. The decision is already made. He just need to create some supporting reasoning to make it sound logic. The more the man read the more islam instills in his heart. In conclusion, people who convert to Islam know about ex Muslims' opinions. And they have a different mentality.

Ex-Muslims; Why did you leave Islam?

So much anti-Islamic talk yet not one person knows anything about Islam. They think that because a Muslim does something that this defines what Islam teaches.

Future reference: If you are going to critique Islam, learn about it first. Do not merely read what Muslims do. Rather learn what Islam is.

Are there any Ex-Muslims on Quora?

Yes, there are.1) What made you leave Islam? -- I used to be a devout muslim until 7 years ago. I would preach and engage in debates. I never missed a prayer or fast. I kept a blog titled "Messenger of Monotheism". In there, I wrote, "Existence of God is not something we can prove using test-tubes in a laboratory." A friend commented "If so, why are you so sure that god exists. Have you considered the possibility that you may be wrong?"That came as a shock to me. Nobody had questioned my faith before. Existence of God was a serious existential question and I couldn't rest unless some answers are found. I lost interest in prayers and anything Islamic. I took part in online discussions, went through a lot of articles and read Richard Dawkins' God Delusion. After 3 months of deliberation, I said "This is it! There's no god. I'm free".Detailed answer: Ajas Mohamed's answer to Why did you stop following Islam?2) Was your family supportive of your decision? -- No. Me and my brother would fiercely debate till after midnight. My mother would watch me arguing and cry and curse. My dad was not happy but he kept cool. Now, after 7 years, my mother kind of accepted it. I mean, she still tells me to be a Muslim so I can get married and have a family.Detailed answer: Ajas Mohamed's answer to How do family and friends react when Muslims leave Islam? Is the transition easy?3) What repercussions, if any, did you face after becoming an Ex-Muslim? -- There's no repercussions as such. I don't go around telling people about why I don't believe in Islam. I keep silent when my relatives discuss about Islam. I'm happy to be living in India, this country is tolerant no matter what people say. (I lived in Saudi Arabia for 2 years.). Life is normal and is how it used to be. Many less things to worry about.Similar answer: Ajas Mohamed's answer to Are atheists scared of death?
