Explain This Dream To Me

A dream I can't explain?

So I had this dream last night that has been bothering me all day. (This will be really long) I know it has some meaning to it. It is not the first like this were everything and almost everyone is destroyed. Okay so it starts off with me at my house and all of the sudden everything is turning to dust and people are falling down dead. I really do not know what was killing us. So me my family and two girls that I did care for at one point in my life started traveling. I honestly do not know we're we where trying to go. But we split up into two groups my family one way, me and the two girls the other way. Btw the two girls were good friends. Then as we were traveling one of the girls died. We were heart broken at that. The other girl said she could not go any further and some how vanished/died. So there I was in a desert all alone crying. It felt like real depression. But then I still went on and found some friends and we kept going and found this place that still was green and there was about 20-25 people there. When we got there I found out that all my family had died. After that I was so devastated that I would try and kill myself. One day I looked up at the stars and saw that the stars were making out words. The ones I could make out was the ones that said this is you're family your going to be okay and your time is not up yet(meaning its not time for you to die). I told my friend what I saw in the stars and in the dream he said that it is not real but then it is at the same time. So I continued to live my life at that place. One day everyone wanted to kill me. I do not know why lol but they did. So I ran away and found a place that was like a castle and a zoo at the same time. I stayed there and then the dream ended. It was not until 4 hours ago that I realized that zoo/castle was in another dream I had and I built it. In this dream I was happy and sad and everything felt real. I wish I could stay in that dream to find out more. Please help.

Explaining the Dream Act?

I have to do a persuasive speech for the Dream Act. Can someone please explain to me in layman's terms what exactly the Dream Act is about? I know it's granting residency to students who are studying, but anybody who can provide a more thorough explanation would be great!

So what exacly is it? What are the benefits? What are the consequences? I want to know the positive and negative despite your views. Thank you :)

How do you explain dreams to a two-year-old?

Your heart tells your mind a story while you are asleep.

How do you explain dreams to a toddler?

One way would be to talk about your own dreams in front of the toddler. Keep it simple. “I was asleep. I had a dream. In my dream I saw a train. It was a steam train. I was having fun, then I woke up. I enjoy dreams, but I don’t always dream or remember them.”Simply declare that a dream is what you think about when asleep. A dream is not real, but feel real when you are having them. Add that day dreams are thoughts during the day that are not about what is happening around you, are fun, but different than sleep dreams. At someone point, a parent has to be able to explain and soothe a toddler after a bad dream. Bad dreams are not real and can not hurt anyone in the dream.I’ve found that the first words my 3 year old great grandson blurts out, if he does, upon awakening has to do with any dreams he is having, or at the least the last thing on his mind before sleeping. I don’t probe for a reflection on the dream, but progress with talk about the topic of the first words. If he wakes with the word “train” then I say, immediately, “tell me about trains.” Toddlers are just learning to reflect and recall their immediate past so questioning isn’t as effective as encouraging ‘more.’Just as a parent might help a child not make too much of a dream, I would advise a parent to not make too much of them either, for it is too easy to project your own feelings (fears & hopes) into the dream. To listen and be open is enough.

Can someone help explain this dream?

As I see this dream it's a spiritual dream. I say this for the mountains are the home of the Great Spirit. It's also a masculine energy place, the place of the Sun God. The Sun God is masculine leaving out the feminine principal. The stag has long been a symbol of Christ. Horns/antlers are a symbol of power. To be hungry here can speak to a spiritual hunger. To eat is to integrate. Flesh is related to the body, life in the body as well as the instinctual side of life. You integrated this symbol of Christ. However, you do it in a very aggressive masculine way via a shotgun blast. It seems to me that the feminine aspect represented by the mother is weak, being overwhelmed by the masculine. The mother is not listened to. The mother can represent how you mother yourself. You set this feminine energy aside, and use a knife to finish the job. A knife is a symbol of the intellect. It's also a masculine symbol. You're probably a thinking type.Whenever the masculine is too one-sided it can be aggressive and overpowering. This masculine energy needs to be balanced with the feminine. In this way life is more balanced. This is what the hunger can be about, a spiritual hunger for balance. The Goddess is just as important as the Sun God. Both are needed, and this is happening in the world today. The Goddess is coming back into the world. The feminine would not shotgun to death the stag, or use a knife to finish it off. In alchemy it is known that the unicorn is tamed in the lap of a virgin. Virgin meaning one who gives birth from themselves. The unicorn is also a symbol of Christ. In the lap its balanced with the feminine.Something to contemplate.Peace!

Can anyone explain this weird dream?

Okay Dexter, your dream could mean many things:-

1.You could have seen someone doing something similar in the day, or sometimes dreams are just jumbles and jumbles of weird things.

2.Try to remember what the tattoo looked like, your feelings or expressions as you were drawing it.

3.Your dream shows that you were self-inflicting pain. Were you feeling down or depressed lately?

4.You woke up and you were feeling the pain. This could be because your hand was pressed in some way or another under your back, ect. When your body feels pain, that pain is quite likely to be shown as a dream.

5.Also, dreams are just dreams. Don't give any significance to them as i've seen worse dreams. Don't feel worried, this is very normal. Your dream will not effect you in any way!

Good Luck!
Hope I helped!

How do I explain this dream where I die and then resurrect?

Surgery is traumatic, especially if its your first one. Its natural to be afraid that you're going to die, especially when the usual connotation of hospitals is seriously ill and dying people. Since you were afraid of suffering, in the dream you controlled what was going to happen to you if you died. Notice that you did not FEEL that you died, instead, you fast-forwarded to a different location. Your subconscious takes your fears and sorts them out into a coherent explanation of events. The sleep paralysis is caused by your mind forcing your brain into consciousness before the brain has had time to counteract the chemical that causes sleep paralysis which is in place to keep you from acting out your dreams. (Your mind does not know the difference between being awake and being asleep as far as physical actions or emotions are concerned, so when you sleep you have a gland that secretes a chemical to keep you immobile in bed.) Sleep paralysis is scary, but if you understand what is happening, you can tell yourself to relax and think pleasant thoughts until the effect wears off. Again, surgery is traumatic, to your physical body and emotionally and mentally. Give yourself time to fully recover and don't dwell on the dream and build it up in your mind. It's just your mind's way of coping with trauma.

Can you explain your dreams in a single line?

First we have to define what is dream ..For some dream is what we see while sleeping, for some dream is what for which we don't sleep, and for some it is just imagination. For me continuously doing something without compromising, deflecting with passion, dedication, running like mad behind one thing, focus on one thing having strong desire to achieve one thing and i.e. DREAMS

Can someone please explain my dream to me?

Last night I had a dream that my mother had 5 days to live because of alcohol and then she kept drinking. I was following her around my house with my dad. I kept crying and asking her to stop but every time i would cough, i would spit out like all these different types of minerals and razor blades.

A few weeks ago I had a really scary dream where I was at a funeral home and I didn't know who had died until i looked at the board at the entrance and it said my moms name. I go up to the casket and i dont say anything. Everyone was coming up to me saying sorry for your loss and i just ignored them. This kept playing over and over again throughout my whole entire dream. But in my dream I would wake up everyday and it would be a cloudy ugly day outside and when i go get the mail, a funeral car thing(i dont know what it is) would park outfront and the casket would appear right at my doorstep. And the date on the mail was ALWAYS January 4th,2013.

Now in real life my mom IS an alcoholic and she does have a short amount of time left due to her bad liver she destroyed from drinking and she also has lupus.
Can someone just explain to me what they think these dreams might mean? it'll really mean a lot to me. thank you in advanced!

Can anyone help me explain a steep hill dream?

Last night I had a really vivid dream. Myself and my wife were driving and the road suddenly became an almost vertical hill. Rather than attempt to climb it and risk rolling back down I drove to the side to decide whether or not to risk it. I decided not to and turned around to find an alternative route. We found none. We did however find a conference hall where George Clooney(!) was doing a talk. As part of the talk he mentions (& shows a photograph) what a wonderful view it is from the top of the hill and people make a mistake by not trying to climb it. I awoke without having climbed the hill. Can anyone help as it's meaning might be obvious or not. Thanks.
