Exposed Skin Care Or Clear Skin Max

Exposed Vs. Proactiv, which one is better?

Ok I found this skin solution products called Exposed and seems it has better ingredients that Proactiv doesn't have like Green Tea, Tea Tree Oil, Licorice Root, Olive Leaf, Azelaic Acid and Salycilic Acid.

Proactv just has Benzoyl Peroxide, Glycolic Acid, Allantoin (Also Exposed has these ingredients).

It costs like 15 bucks more than Proactiv. Seems interesting but I am skeptical about it.

Have you ever tried it before? Does it work? Is it better than Proactiv?

I don't trust Proactiv that much, seeing Jessica Simpson and all those other celebrities promote it doesn't convice me much. Those celebrities also are helped by other professionals that help them control what they eat, how to manage their stress etc, so it's not only Proactiv whats helping them.

What is the best skin whitening capsule? Please help!?

There is no best skin whitening capsule because there is no solid research that any of them work like the infomercials claim it to be. Marketing and science are two distinct field; marketing beguiles you with sensationalized words and visuals whereas real science is controlled, methodological, and evidence-based.

Most commercial whitening pills contain glutathione.

Oral glutathione breaks down in your stomach because of the highly acidic environment.

There is a 2010 well-designed study on glutathione capsule:

"Objective: To determine whether orally administered glutathione, 500 mg per day for 4 weeks, affects the skin melanin index, when compared with placebo. Methods: This randomized, double-blind, two-arm, placebo-controlled study was set in the King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Bangkok, Thailand, a teaching hospital affiliated with a medical school. Sixty otherwise healthy medical students were randomized to receive either glutathione capsules, 500 mg/day in two divided doses, or placebo for 4 weeks. The main outcome was mean reduction of melanin indices measured at six different sites. Several secondary outcomes, including UV spots, were recorded by VISIAâ„¢. Efficacies of glutathione and placebo were compared by ANCOVA with baseline values as co-variates. Results: Sixty participants enrolled and completed the study. At 4 weeks, the melanin indices decreased consistently at all six sites in subjects who received glutathione. The reductions were statistically significantly greater than those receiving placebo at two sites, namely the right side of the face and the sun-exposed left forearm (p-values = 0.021 and 0.036, respectively). This was similarly reflected in the changes in the number of UV spots, as measured by VISIA. Both glutathione and placebo were very well tolerated. Conclusion: Oral glutathione administration results in a lightening of skin color in a small number of subjects. However, long-term safety has not been established and warrants more extensive clinical trials."

Dry Skin Problem? I have oily skin!?

Yes, same thing that happened to me. When you have oily/combination skin, hormone toxins are being released from your body and/or the food you eat. One of the places it may effect are your oil gland. The glands sort of go on overload and start releasing immense amounts of oils. When you continuously wash your face, your body senses a lack of moisture which completely freaks out your body so they produce more and more oil. One of the ways to stop oily skin, believe it or not, is moisturizing. It adds moisture which helps the glands to let lose for a bit.
But, if you over moisturize your skin. Your body begins to think "hey, theres enough moister." so it literally produces hardly any oils causing your face to dry up. Moisturizers should be used very very lightly just to add a LITTLE bit extra. Because once the product has seeped long gone through ur skin your stuck with a dry mess

What you do is to start by getting your skin back to its normal. Stop using the moisturizers and ur whole routine for about one week (or less). Mix together 2 slices worth of cucumber juice along with 1tbsp of lemon juice and 1tsp of olive oil. If possible, add a vitamin e capsule. This is a very simple remedy that will clean away dirt and improve circulation (cucumber), remove dead skin cells for an even skin tone, erase acne and clean deep into the pores (lemon juice), lightly moisturize to give your body and head start (olive oil), and soothe nourishing minerals ideal for healthy skin (vitamin e)

After about a week, your skin should retain moist of its moisture and you can go on with your original products (if you want).

hope i helped

I have Keratosis Pilaris, what kind of foundation do you recommend to cover redness?

I have keratosis pilaris and I was wondering if anyone knows of a foundation that'll cover redness and will last throughout the day. Some brands work but after about an hour or so or when I get really hot the redness on my face shows through...I've tried max factor it works best so far. I've also tried mineral makeups they dont work at all for me. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
