I got beat up really bad and my face is swollen.My eyes forehead cheeks. What can I do or take to reduce it?
I got jumped by 3 big way older than me girls. I barely turned 18 and their all 24-25-26. My face is messed up. I can't even recognize myself. I want it to go away fast because I need to go back to work ASAP. What can I do? I've been taking 2 Ibuprofen 800's every 4 hours. Putting ice for a long time. Putting teabags-cold towels. It doesn't seem to be going down though and today is the second day!

Can I wear makeup on a swollen eye?
This one is hard to say since you don't know why your eye is swollen. If you hit it and it was bruised and swollen I don't see why you couldn't wear makeup. But since it seems like its maybe swollen because of some kind of irritation it might be best not to further irritate it, & I know that's probably not what you want to hear. If your eye is painful you definitely don't want to irritate it further with eye product. Maybe try a little concealer first if you want to test the waters but for sure give your doc a call if there's no improvement! Take care.
Why are my eyes swollen after crying the night before?
If I cry at night, from say, 7pm on, the next morning, my eyes are swollen. Nothing will make the swelling go down either. I want to know why that happens and how it can be prevented (other than not crying). :)
Is it bad to put on slight eye makeup on swollen eyelid?
hi, It sounds like you either have a little infection or a stye, its bedt to allow the eyes to clear up properly before wearing makeup. Sincd you said yoi have had this few days now i suggest a visit to the gp to get some medication to help clear it up quicker. If you wear contacts lenses i would strongly reccommend that you wear your glasses until it has fully cleared up. Make sure you use a different towel to sry your face from the fest of your body, this will cut on infection, on the other eye also. I hope this helps good luck.
