What exactly do you want to do? Do you want to change the number used for verification on facebook or do you want to add one that you previously didn’t input? Either way it’s pretty simple, really.Settings>Security and Login>Two-Factor Authentication>Edit.There you should be given the option to use your new phone and a code will be delivered to that phone number. That’s really all there is to it.IF for some god knows what reason the code doesn’t arrive, it might be due to server overload and you’ll just have to wait a bit. If it still doesn’t arrive after a lot of time has passed, then there might be something up with your new number, in which case all I can do is suggest you use a virtual phone number. Cheers.

Facebook Error: "Sorry, something went wrong."?
Tried to log in, and got the message "Sorry, something went wrong. We're working on getting this fixed as soon as we can." I don't know if this caused it or not, but for the past few days I wasn't able to complete security check (that wanted me to enter a confirmation code they sent to my phone) because I didn't have access to my old cell phone number. I submitted a report stating that and got an email asking me to confirm my identity by sending a picture of a government issued ID. Malfunctions site... Try to have your password resent to your inbox. I've signed up then a day later the account was gone... No reason. I just had to make a new one. It's a tough site... Be careful on there. I've met some real strange women who will destroy a guy who's desperate. Also, they usually let users evaluate other users pictures on that site. It's possible that someone could have reported your picture as a nude photo. If you used a shirtless photo that could have been the reason. Or if you said someting in your profile that might have rubbed some one the wrong way, that could have been the reason too.
