Feel Like Crap And Have Hunger Pains But I Feel Overly Full

Constant hunger pangs and quick full feeling?

For the past few weeks, I've been having CONSTANT hunger pangs, but I can't even eat more than a few bites of anything before I feel like I've just eaten 2 Thanksgiving dinners, but the pang is still there WITH the full feeling! I constantly feel nauseous. It's worse when I have just pangs but then when I eat a few bites of anything, I feel my food trying to come up into my throat. Tonight is particularly bad. I had such bad hunger pangs i made a huge pot of penne pasta and i couldn't even finish a quarter of one bowl! I think I might have only eaten an 1/8 of it. But I didn't actually measure. Now I'm full but I feel my food trying to come up and STILL have these pangs!!!!! I have this huge headache that won't go away no matter what. Does anyone know what this could be? I am going to the doctor, but I would like a little preparation if anyone knows of anything this could be. I can't possibly be hungry for real all this time and I can't possibly be full after just a few bites every time i eat.

Thanks!

Do fish feel pain? How about hunger?

I heard somewhere that fish don't feel either of these, and fish can't tell if they're full enough they'll just eat until their stomachs rupture if you give them too much food. Is this true? My pet goldfish keeps telling me he's hungry, going "I'm hungry bro, give me some food!" and I want to know he's lying to me or telling the truth.

Hunger pains but not hungry and getting worse?

You have tight muscles in your back pressing onto the nerves going to your stomach to cause that pain. When there is pressure on the nerves to the stomach it makes the stomach release more gastric acid which is going to burn your stomach. As the extra acid build up it backs up into your esophagus and it will cause pain and your body wants to get rid of the pain so up it comes, part way anyway for you. The pressure on the nerves also blocks the messages to and from the brain so it doesn't know you are hungry, the pressure itself can be telling the brain you are full. To get rid of this problem you have to free up your back muscles to get the pressure off the nerves and here's how to do that:
Back:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
for best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

What does it mean when you're hungry, but you really don't feel like eating?

I get this problem myself, and I solved it, however, your issue may be different. It usually means your depressed. When depressed a person doesn’t enjoy their food. Another possibility has to do with the ‘mould’ in our stomachs, thats right! We all have mould in our tums and that has plenty of props in itself (i.e. allergy to some antibiotics etc).Certain medications can do this too for sure. For me, the acid in my stomach was too acidic and I wasn't digesting my food properly. The less you eat, the less you feel like eating bc your tummy will shrink.I personally, think you may have the acid thing going on bc what you describe is what I feel. Here’s what you do; DRINK WATER WHEN YOU’RE HUNGER (this will nurtalize the acid a bit). before eating, DRINK MINERAL WATER if possible (that does help!). Next, PROBIOTICS, drink at least 2 of those little probiotic things before eating.OH my GOD, I ALMOST FORGOT!!! You need to take cod liver oil everyday, and eat the FAT off your meat (gross, I know!) this will help if your in a cycle that can get to you, at best, it will keep you away from problems than can happen if this is allowed to get worse (not a prob if your loss of interest in food is due to depression).Your tummy may be acidic and they may be effecting your appetite. How are your teeth? an acidic body has bad teeth. poor immunity etc.cheers

How do you deal with hunger pangs when fasting?

The startling realisation when you fast for the first time is that ‘hunger pangs’ don’t just steadily increase the longer you fast. I knew what it felt like to miss one meal and naturally imagined that it would be twice as bad after two missed meals, three times as bad after three, and so on.But the ‘hunger feeling’ is really just your body telling you: ‘this is when you normally eat’. If you just reply: ‘thanks, but today I’m fasting’, it passes away after say 10 minutes (you have to drink lots of water when fasting, so that would be a good time for a glass or two). It will come back around lunchtime…but it will be the same level of hunger, and again will pass; treat it the same way - observe it, but move on. And so on for the next day or two - but the subsequent ‘pangs’ are really no worse than the first. After the fourth day, remarkably, you don’t really even think about eating any more. There are things you need to look out for when fasting (which you should read up on - “The Complete Guide To Fasting” by Jason Fung is an exceptionally well written book), but that is the simplified answer to your question.Informed fasting is spectacularly good for you and it is wonderfully liberating to know that you are not enslaved to a constant supply of food - the ability to acknowledge hunger but realise that it is no big deal gives you a powerful feeling of freedom.

What are symptoms of hunger?

when you've had crappy eating habits, it takes a little while for you to relearn your body's hunger signals.

the symptoms you've described are symptoms of hunger. it starts off feeling "crappy", some people have a personality change & get snappish & mean, others get headaches, dizzyness, &/or nausea, some people have their hands shake---and all of this usually happens before the rumbling tummy. Usually the other symptoms (headaches, irritability, nausea) are also signs that your glucose levels have dropped & it means you need to eat just as if your stomach was empty (tummy rumblings).

to add to the confusion, sometimes the rumbling tummy is a signal that you're thirsty. Some people experience hunger pangs when they are thirsty.

If you're feeling hunger symptoms, then you've waited to long to eat. Ideally you'll want to eat just before the hunger symptoms start or just after the mildest of symptoms begin because you won't eat as much. If you wait until your hunger symptoms are giving you problems then you're more likely to overeat.
