Feeling the need to pee every few minutes (Girls only please!)?

sounds like a urinary tract infection hun, might have nothing to do with your bladder, a lot of things can cause it, a few things might be wearing tight underwear or just holding in your pee for too long before releasing it which makes it trap bacteria in there causing the infection. I had one recently, i scheduled a doctors appointment and he put me on antibiotics for it, before you get to the doctors to help slow it down a little you might want to drink a lot of cranberry juice, and lots and lots of fluids, the more fluids you drink the less you will have the feeling of having to pee, it sounds crazy but it actually works, unfortunately the burning will not go away from just drinking fluids that's why its important to go to the doctor to get a prescription checked out for you, and tell the doctor what the symptoms are and that you think its a UTI (urinary tract infection), for now i would go to a pharmacy or grocery store (rite aid, walgreens, cvs, even walmart) and go to the medicine aisle and try to get some pills for Urinary tract infection, it might make you pee orange colored but it helps with the pain. =) I hope this helps.

FEMALES! You know that burning feeling when you pee after you just washed DOWN THERE??

Well, I just got out of the shower, and it is burning so bad I can hardly bare it.

I am a virgin... not sexually active.
So, I really don't know what it could be. It's making me nervous. It hurts so bad. I don't know what to do?!?

Is anybody familiar with this and how it can be treated? Or if it will just fade away?

Whats wrong with my bladder? Please Help me!![I know its long but please read it!]

Go see a doctor and quit screwing around. You may be causing further problems by delaying. Please go to a doctor now.

Why is it that sometimes when I urinate I get the shivers?

There's already a detailed answer. So, I'd be as brief as I can. Thanks for the A2A. :)More often than not the shiver or trembling the body goes through during or after peeing occurs after you have held on to the urine for quite a long time before finally releasing it. The shiver normally occurs after urination or moments before the urination ends. The shiver starts in the spine and rapidly moves all over the body, causing the entire body to shudder briefly.Below are some of the reasons why a person might shake after urinating:According to doctors, one of the likely reasons is because the body’s temperature quickly gets lowered after we have released enormous amounts of warm fluids from the body in the form of urine. As a result of this, the body’s protective mechanism quickly causes the body to shiver in order to bring some warmth back to the body. This is the same thing that happens to the body when we are very cold – the body begins to shiver in order to bring some heat back to the body.Another reason some people might experience pee shakes is likely because of a simple thing such as the fact that when a person wants to urinate, they expose their private parts to the cold air outside. As a result of this, the person naturally feels cold and shivers during or after urination. Also because of something called the shiver reflex. Our parasympathetic system tends to simultaneously lower blood pressure while initiating the bladder contraction (sacrum plexus). Hence in order to counter that, our sympathetic system initiates a shiver reflex to counter this drop. Men tend to experience it more since blood pressure is higher when standing and hence the drop will be significant.( hope I have not offended you. Great answer btw!)

Can you have a UTI, but no pain when urinating? Or is something else causing my frequent trips to the bathroom

I am getting worried. For the last few days, I've had to urinate rather frequently. I have been to the bathroom at least 12 times in the last three hours. Sometimes when I go, it's just a few drops. Other times, it's a full fledge urination. It doesn't hurt which is weird.

I just went to the bathroom at 2:20 -- it's now 2:37 and I'm already starting to feel a little pressure on my bladder.

I am 24 years old and overweight (5'6, 190lbs), but I've recently started intense workouts where i burn about 1000 calories per session and trying to eat healthier, so I'm thinking it's not diabetes.

What's going on?

Non-burning tingly sensation when I pee?

First, the poop thing. It's VERY common to have frequent or loose bowel movements when your period first starts. Don't stress about it.

Second, the tingling during urination. It could be nothing, but could be an early sign of a urinary track infection. Try drink some cranberry juice for the next couple of days, and generally increasing the amount of fluids you drink. If you catch it early, you might be able to flush it out. if you find the symptoms getting worse (tingling, burning, or cloudy urine), make an appointment to see your doctor. Urinary tract infections are very easily treated.

How does it feel when the kidney stone passes through the urethra?

Passing a stone through the urethra isn't the problem. It's getting the damned things through the ureters that produces the most pain.Getting a stone through the urethra isn't terribly pleasant, but at least you know the stone is passing out of the system. The ureters are much smaller, and a prong horn stone basically feels like you have shards of glass in there.A surgeon can place stents from your bladder through the ureters to the kidneys in hopes that the stone(s) can pass through without as much discomfort. But stents eliminate the spincters that stop the urine from flowing back into the kidneys, so when urinating you can feel like you're getting back flow into them. Another unpleasant feeling. And because the stents dangle in the bladder you have a constant feeling like you have to go pee. When I had bilateral stents I can't begin to tell you how frustrating it was to think that my bladder was full, only to produce a teaspoon of wizz … every 20 minutes or so.
