Fidgeting That Has Become Agitation

Why has my betta become restless (hyperactive)?

I think Mark hit the "Mark" this time. What happens this time of year is that the sun invades further into our homes than in the summer and if it strikes an aquarium, it can quickly warm up the water. She will be hungrier than what you are used to, but an ideal temperature for a betta is 80 - 82 degrees. Her anti-social behavior is the abnormal behavior, but one that is very predictable when bettas are kept below 80 degrees. I don't know if Mark and I are right; does this sound like the situation?

I have kept as many as 20 full grown female bettas in a tank together but it was well planted and 150 gallons. There was a very old male betta I forgot about in the tank. I hadn't seen him and he was over five years old and looking very lazy and decrepit the last time I did see him. He suddenly perked up for the young ladies when I put them in, built a respectable bubble nest and then spawned with one female after another until the nest was more eggs than bubbles. But it does seem true that a few female bettas in a small tank are likely to squabble.

Zoloft and hallucination?

the dosage might just be a little too high for you starting out at first. breaking the pill in half for the first week or so until you get used to it, may help. but if these side effects keep going on, you need to discuss it with your doctor, they may want to try you on a different type of antidepressant. I started off taking zoloft when i was younger, i actually had a rare allergic reaction to it. i had to try a couple of them, before i found the one that was right for me. i am now on Celexa, which i like.

What does foot shaking mean in body language?

Know as “Psychomotor Agitation”You likely refer to this form of nonverbal communication as "fidgeting" but in the research literature psychomotor agitation define gestures or automanipulations that lack any real purpose. For instance, think back to the last time you adjusted your clothes or accessories in public. Was it a meaningful adjustment that needed immediate attention, or did it just give you something to do with your hands or feet; something to fidget or fiddle with?WHAT FOOT/LEG FIDGETING MEANSThis type of nonverbal communication signals to others that you’re either1) Nervous because you think you’re being judged…or2) Apprehensive because of the situation you’re in or about to be in (think about waiting to be seen for a job interview or for your significant other to respond in a fight).Even if you claim that these movements are something you just do when you are bored, studies indicate that such fidgeting and leg shaking comes off to others as a clear sign of anxiousness.I’d wager that there is more on the person's mind, they are anxious because they feel they cannot voice their opinion effectively (they think it will come out wrong) or they fear any response will cause further problems (regardless of the merit it may have to it).Hope this helps!

I feel confined in my own house. Do I have anxiety problems?

I live in my parent's house, but around 60% of the time I stay with my boyfriend.
Whenever I do stay at home for any length of time, even if it's only for 5 or 6 hours, I feel the need to leave. I do not have problems with my parents at all.
When I start to feel like that, I get anxious, fidgety, agitated and sometimes very angry, which leads to becoming very upset.
This can happen whenever, even when I don't have anywhere specific that I want to go!
It's becoming a bit of a problem, as I feel very guilty for not spending as much time with my parents, but when I do stay I seem to upset them with this.

Could someone give me some possibilities on what could be wrong with me?

Missed 5 days of Citalopram 20mg, now side effects from re-starting?

I've been taking a combination of 20mg Citalopram (Celexa) and 300mg Bupropion XL (Wellbutrin) for almost a year now to help w/ depression, anxiety, and ADHD. I am normally good about refilling and not missing doses, but the past few weeks have been irregularly crazy.

I had a cold, so my routine was off and I missed a dose here and there of both for the past couple of weeks, but picked back up until about 5 days ago when I ran out of Citalopram. I didn't pick the prescription up until today, and now I'm experiencing some major agitation.

The days of taking only Bupropion weren't crazy bad, but I was pretty emotional yesterday... hindsight tells me it's probably to do w/ Citalopram leaving my system, right?

Are there particular side effects from stopping cold turkey for about 5 days and then re-starting meds? Within what seemed like an hour or two of taking my meds, I felt overwhelmingly anxious, agitated, somewhat flustered, and just physically tense and fidgety.

If this is to-do w/ restarting, how long 'til it goes away? I didn't have these side effects while taking it regularly... This is the first time I've missed doses like this, so I just don't want to be throwing my system all out of whack.

Can you tell if someone is high on cocaine?

depends on what ur like on it. some people dont seem any different, ur pupils dilate, u might be abit fidgety, talk more. it would probably take someone who had actualy taken coke to tell that ur on it, as long as u dont have powder hanging off ur nostrils!
