Is there actually ANY player growth in FIFA 11 career mode?
yeah i have finished my first season and had 2 go up by a couple and three go down by one and the rest stayed the same, the player ratings at the end of the matches play a big part as they get an average rating over say ten games and depending on whether the players have a high, low or medium average they will either increase, decrease or stay the same accordingly. Also if a player doesn't play then they will most likely go down, well in most cases anyway. There isn't anything wrong with the player growth, it is just hard to achieve such a high level of averages throughout a team (especially if you sim every game) just like in real life, some players will excel through a season where as others would not, it would be unrealistic for every player to increase/decrease, if a player plays consistently bad, no matter what their age, they are not going to increase.
Can you sim in Fifa 14 player career mode?
Yes, you can simulate matches by going to the calendar. However, you're player will not play in the match, meaning simming is pretty useless. If you are really desperate, you could start the match and press 'sim rest of match' and your player will have a match rating.

What ive found is that if you start with a mexican league team, you get loaned after 3 games.This is GREAT.Why?Because they send you to a lower league, where you are the best player. Right off the bat you can have more play time than those who were there before you. It's a playground to develop your player super fast.When i finished at Dundee FC we won the league and cup, my rating was at 78. When i returned to Toluca i finished the league, but transfered out.Why?My player grew to 84 and was signed to Wolfsburg. Which limited my growth, but offered more prestige. Winning the champions cup, Deutsche pokal, and some other cups along the way.Before i transfered out from Wolfsburg to Arsenal, i even won the World Cup for Mexico.Arsenal then bid for me and gave me 150k per week to my 90k. Now I'm trying to win this league and whatever cup comes after, hopefully i get scouted by Barcelona or Real Madrid.Though, for the prestige…update: im not sure if my other comment was posted, but yeah… i got scouted by real madrid. i wanted barcelona but they didnt make an offer.if you want a starting role in the mexican league instantly pick lobos buap team, theyre lowly rated and you will probably be able to get a starting position. i chose toluca, because im a fan.the mexican league is easy enough to grow, but competitive enough to be noticed. on a separate run i got scouted by dortmund and i stayed 2 years before playing for real madrid, i got offers for bayern and manchester united but i prefered dortmund.
Unable to edit a player in FIFA 17 Player Career mode on PS4!?
Hi everyone! The issue I face is the following. I decided to play Player Career Mode in FIFA 17 on my ps4. I suceessfully created my own player and just randomly placed him into a Russian soccer club. Soon, the coach wanted to loan my out. I got loaned out to German team with hideous outfit.I looked at the cleats my player has and almost collapsed!They were the generic FIFA 17 cleats! "How the hell have I not changed them when I was creating him?!"-I thought to myself. Then I realized,that when you just create a player, you can only edit his appearance, number and stats, but no jersey characteristics, like tucked or untucked, gloves or no gloves, and no cleats selection. I already had an option "Edit a Player" redeemed from the catalogue in FIFA 16 and it transferred to 17 too. So, while I am in this soccer club with a bad uniform, I go into menu,find Edit Players function and with an expectation and an evil smile of removing those horrible generic cleats, I dig through my team to find my player. To my great surprise, he wasn t there! Neither he was at the team that I started the Player Career Mode with (I thought maybe if they still have his contract and loaned him out, he s be there, but no). Now I am super confused as to how to edit my player while I am in the season. I just can t look at this tucked in shirt and ugly generic boots anymore! I get tears in my eyes and I am a grown man! Has anyone ever faced the same issue, or has a solution for it?

It is indicative of current form of the player. Think of it as a temporary boost/drop of player ability.An arrow pointing straight down means the player is struggling. It is advisable to drop these players, to “reset” the form.An arrow slanted downwatds means players is kind of struggling. These players need thinking wether to be dropped or retained.Slanted arrow pointing up, means a player in good form. Play them, as they expect to be played while in this form.A arrow pointing straight up means the player is in dangerous match winning form. Do not ever drop such players, even if he is of relatively low OVR. Except if he is injured, or a rest for just one game before a big match.
