Final Pokemon For My Black Team

Pokemon white/black team - final spot?

I have just started a new game and cannot decide on my last spot pokemon, I want a well rounded team and so far my team is going to be

Emboar

Sesimitoad

Archeops

Elektross

Simisage/Leavanny - Not sure which one yet

I would love some advice on the last spot as I really don't know who to fit, I was toying between Reuniclus, Bouffalant or Hydregion ( but can only get him late) - any help on which one to get or a better choice would be brilliant, also would like help on either simisage or leavanny too. Simi has dark moves while Leavanny has the bugs.

also if you have suggestions on any of the other pokemon then please say,

Thanks

Pokemon team for Black and White. Should my final pokemon be Archeops or Hydreigon?

Personally, I believe Archeops will be a better overall fit for your team. For one, Archeops provides you with another powerful physical Pokemon, so you won't be walled by the likes of Blissey or Snorlax if Mienshao faints. Additionally, a Rock STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus) provides great coverage with the moves you already have, and a STAB Acrobatics always hurts. Lastly, Archeops great speed makes him a great revenge killer, which fits perfectly with who you already have listed. I do admit Hydreigon is a great Pokemon, and in most cases would be the better choice. However, he just doesn't seem to fit around your team. One thing you could do, is switch Virizion to Terakkion. Plus, despite him being Fighting like Mienshao, you aren't presented by a common weakness by repitition of type. Then, you're provided with a similar type Pokemon who could be a strong set-up sweeper on your team. Also, Zoroark has similar weaknesses to Hydreigon. I would not recommend running them together.

In terms of improvements to the rest of your team, Virizion's special moveset is rather shallow. However, if you insist on running special, I'd change Giga Drain to Hidden Power: Rock, as it allows Virizion to stay in on less bulky fire types, or those double weak to rock, and OHKO them. Good examples of this are Volcarona, and Chandelure. As for Reuniclus, unless you're really concerned about Focus Blast's lower accuracy, there is no reason not to run it. 50 Base Power is a huge amount in the world of pokemon, and will allow Reuniclus to fair much better against many Pokemon. With Mienshao, definitely run Hidden Power: Ice, as you don't need two fighting moves, and Drain Punch's HP recovery isn't that great on a frailer Pokemon like Mienshao. Plus, ice is just one of the better attacking types in Pokemon at the moment, and it won't be sorely missed on your team if it was absent. And as one last thing to consider, get someone else to use fly whenever you need it. Earthquakes provides such good coverage with the moves you already have that it should no doubt be there.

Pokemon Black team help?

Right, so I bought Black today, and have absolutely zero experience with any gen 5 game or Pokemon. I got Black to see if the bad rep gen 5 get was deserved, so far I'm not too upset by the Pokemon in it. Anyway, I spent the last hour grinding four Pokemon to level 15: Oshawott, Patrat, Lillipup, snd Purrloin. obviously, Oshawott is a keeper, but I'm getting the feeling that
Patrat is the generic lame Normal type always encountered early in the game (ya know, like Rattata, Sentret, Zigzagoon, and Bidoof), and Purrlion isn't performing well, either. Lillipup, from what I read, is a beast in its final evolution, so I'm keeping him, but are the others worth keeping?

Also, ideas for Pokemon that I will encounter later? Like I said, i have no experience with gen 5 :)

Rate my Pokemon Blaze Black team?

Your team as of now is okay. You're still on your way to beating the game. Just as

However, after that, your team...won't be as good. For starters, you lack a steel-type Pokémon. This allows dragon-type with Outrage to tear a hole into your team. Though your Boldore (Gigalith) may be a physical wall, many dragon-types (Dragonite, Salamence, Kingdra, Hydreigon, etc.) carry one or more commonly used moves that would hit your Boldore for super-effective damage. Also, your Gigalith will be incredibly slow, so if it fails to one-shot the dragon-type, then bad things will happen. You should throw in a Pokémon like Scizor. It is a steel-type with amazing type coverage, powerful stab moves, and ACCESS TO PURSUIT, which would put those commonly used ghost/psychic Pokémon such as Gengar that may prove a hard time for the Combusken (Blaziken).

As of right now, you should face absolutely no problem defeating Skyla, especially with that Boldore if it knows powerful STAB rock attacks.

I will rate your team 7.3/10

What's a good in-game team for Pokemon Black and White?

This is the team I went with and had a generally nice run throughout. I used ONLY these pokemon throughout the game and so they have the HM’s on them as well. Anyhow, here goes:SamurottI’ve always gone for water-type starters and this guy doesn’t disappoint. Can play either a physical or a special moveset equally well. Moreover he’s one of the (if not the only) better water pokemon in the game.Surf (STAB+HM), X-Scissor (Coverage, better accuracy and PP than megahorn), Ice Beam (Coverage), Revenge (Coverage)KrookodileDark/Ground with not many weaknesses and good attack stats.Crunch (STAB), Earthquake (STAB), Strength (for HM uses), Brick-break (Coverage)ChandelureWithout doubt the best Fire-type in the game with a crazy special attack. The normal/fighting resistance helps well throughout the game.Flamethrower (STAB), Shadow Ball (STAB), Calm Mind (for even higher SpAtk), Energy Ball (Coverage)MusharnaI know psychic types received a lot of hate in this game but I personally loved the guy. I originally planned on replacing it with a Haxorus while getting round to the Elite 4 but decided to keep it as it was a huge help in catching pokemon (being the only sleeper on my team) and tanked everything surprisingly well (while simultaneously damaging if holding a Rocky Helmet)Psychic (STAB), Shadow Ball (Coverage), Moonlight (to help with tanking), Hypnosis/Yawn (for obvious reasons)ArcheopsBrilliant Atk stats, can OHKO most pokemon.Fly (STAB+HM), Rock Slide (STAB), Earthquake (Coverage), Dragon Claw (Coverage)GalvantulaBecause every team needs an electric-type and this guy works fairly better than Zebstrika.Thunder (STAB, 91% accuracy with compound eyes), X-Scissor/Bug Buzz (STAB), Thunder Wave, Volt Switch (to get out of tricky situations)Hope this helps :)

How do I beat the elite four in Pokemon Black/White?

A dull way to do it is to keep blacking out against the elite four while your pokemon gradually gain levels. Another way to do it is to find a pokemon that can set up. For example, you can find Axew here: Page on MarrilandThen, you can train it to about level 50 and evolve it into haxorus, so it can learn dragon dance and swords dance (and then maybe give it dragon claw and earthquake (make sure to only give it physical attacks, since haxorus has low special attack)). Dragon dance boosts speed and attack by one stage and swords dance boosts attack by two stages. So if you aren't sure if haxorus is faster than all the opposing pokemon, one dragon dance will probably be enough, so that it is faster. So, when facing a member of the elite four, you either use dragon dance or swords dance for the first move, depending on whether you think you're fast enough. Then, you use swords dance repeatedly (this might require experimentation as to how many hits haxorus can take while you are doing this). Finally, you heal haxorus with an item and kill each of the opposing pokemon in one hit. (If you're facing a human, they'll try much harder to stop this strategy by using something like taunt, whirlwind, or inflicting status, but the computers in the game aren't that intelligent.)

Is Scolipede a good pokemon to have on a team for pokemon black?

Scolipede is a strong choice is you want a solid pokemon.

It's max attack/defence and speed stats can reach over the 300 mark (speed is it's greatest stat), special attack not so good, and it's main weakness is it's special defence.

Since it learns powerful physical moves like Megahorn* (180), Rock Climb (90), Double Edge (120) and can be taught (by TM) Poison Jab* (120) and X-Scissor* (120), you have no shortage of good moves.

* - indicates which moves get a 1.5 type power boost.

Hope that helps.

Good Pokemon Black Team? (Detailed, Please)?

For the giant Ice Cream Cone, I recommend having more attacks, maybe have Ice Beam, and get rid of Light Screen for that. Acid Armor and Hail are good, and be sure to use them at the beginning of a battle.
As for the second one, Bisharp is your best choice. Kilnklang is too slow, and if you can get a move to weaken the effects of fire moves, you're set.
Chandelure is a Sp. Atk BEAST, so I would try to teach it Heat Wave. Take the Leftovers and give it Scope Lens. Energy Ball is good for Water types.
Haxorus's Sp.Atk is pathetic, so don't bother teaching it Special attacks. Dragon Tail is good for Haxorus, but Earthquake doesn't. Hydregion is good for speed, so if you teach it some good moves, you're set for that too. Its all a matter of preference if you want Attack or Speed, both are good.
Zozoark is pretty set, nothing to change about that.
Archeops. I would take away the Rock Gem, its kinda useless as you can only use it once. Just don't leave it with any item, so Acrobatics is better.
