Bioshock free roam after finishing the story?

No, all you can do is reload the last save you had. And depending on where that is, you might be able to gain access to a bathysphere and get to the portions of the city where you already went. Not that there is really much of a point since much of the splicers don't respawn or anything.

How did the Shenmue story finish?

It never did. Shenmue 2 ended with a cliffhanger when it released back in 2001. However; in the interview linked below, series creator Yu Suzuki stated that he is looking into crowd funding Shenmue 3 via Kickstarter.Yu Suzuki is looking into Kickstarter for Shenmue 3

Do you ever refuse to finish a game because you don’t want the story to end?

No, I have not. I believe that if I am enjoying a game so much that it would be comparable to the emotions that you are referring to, I must finish the game. If I don't, then am I really doing such a magnificent game any justice by not completing it? Of course not. If you want to put a game and it's charcters peacefully to rest, finish it, and if you love it so much, play it again.

In Fallout 4, can you finish the side quests after the main story, or do you have to finish them before (no spoilers)?

You do have free roam of the map once you finish the main storyline, much as you did before finishing it. Whichever route you take changes the side quests that you'll have, but it'll be pretty much the same game, just no main storyline.

What happens when you finish God of War 4? Does the game just end? Or is it an open world like Skyrim, where you can still play the game after the story?

You can continue to play after the story has been completed. any items you havent obtained you can get, and the 2 realms locked behind the gates you need runes for can be still visited after you get those. The gods realms still cannot be traveled to however

What kind of gamer are you? Do you rather finish the games you have first before buying a new one or buy games regardless and never really finish a game?

I guess that depends on how you define finish. If you mean finish the story, then I belong to the former category. If you by finish mean 100% completion, then I'm the latter. I do tend to eventually aim for 100% completion, but unless the game is fantastic (and lacks multiplayer trophies; I almost never bother with such) I don't do it in one go.A few 100% games that I did without playing other games in-between:Nier: AutomataNierThe Last of Us (single player only; why ruin my favourite game ever by attaching a totally unrelated multiplayer part?)Life Is Strange (episode by episode though)SkyrimFallout 4Assassin's Creed Unity (I got 100% before they fixed the bugs; still think it's the best one in the series. I even enjoyed the multiplayer bits)No Man's SkyFinal Fantasy XII (PS2 version)Infamous Second SonGames I've completed maybe 99% of, but gotten bored of due to some annoying trophy (typically grinding):Assassin's Creed Origins (fuck you, horse cart racing)Final Fantasy XII (PS4 version; who decided that bloody arena was a good idea?)Some games I've 100%:ed a long time after first playing them:Borderlands (Crawmerax took me a long time)Borderlands 2 (Terramorphous was ok, but that bloody delivery mission? The game has what's arguably the best DLC of all time though; Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep)In total I might've completed a few hundred games, sometimes on several platforms, but I've played far, far more than that.

In Batman Arkham Asylum, how many percent to finish the storyline?

I've heard that 60% of the game completion is story mode
The remaining % is riddler challenges (riddles, destroying teeth, character bios, character figures)

This is just from what i've heard form other peopel who played

I am at 70% and still have some of the story to finish and around 100 challenges still to get

How do you feel when you finish a video game series?

It differs, depending on how immersed I am into the game, how much attachment I form for the characters, how much tension the finale has and how much I enjoy the gameplay. There’s a range of emotions and feelings possible,Relief, if I’ve tired of some aspect of the game but still stuck it through the finale can feel like a weight lifting off your shoulders.Disappointment, when a game finishes too soon or doesn’t tell the complete story, I don’t mind an over-arching plot line but I prefer if each title is more or less a self contained tale.Excitement, pretty rare but occasionally you get a high tension finale that just leaves you pumped full of adrenaline. It can be difficult to start a new game after an ending like this.Complete, some games just tie things off so neatly and leave no questions after the credits roll.Surprise, very rare but when a game has an unforeseen twist, its just so welcome… though sometimes the “surprise” is a cliffhanger which could be good or bad depending on the timing and/or the deliveryOverwhelming awe… occasionally games just leave you gobsmacked and your mind is so blown you can’t engage in anything else until you’ve processed what you’ve just seen.Empty, the sign of a really good story or very well written characters, when the game is over, it’s difficult to fill the void such games leave.Sad. Not every game has a happy ending.Outrage, when it doesn’t make any sense or withholds something for no good reason… or makes you buy the ending separately.Generally, the games I remember most fondly are the ones that make you feel empty when they’re done, I’ve usually formed a strong attachment to the characters or the story has very strongly resonated with me.
