Fitness I Need To Tone Up Help

Please help, i need to tone my body up? (:?

Well in my opinion and from keeping in shape myself. with that lil ball you have its very easy to do all kinds of abs workouts. a good way to flatten your midsection is to work out your side ab muscles. (i dont care much for the tech names.. because well i think you know what im talking about. Do side crunches regular crunches, also something we call "flutter kicks" in the army.. i am not sure what they are called elsewhere but they will burn your lower abs (the ones like way down there).. how to do them is lay on the floor (or with your butt off the edge of your bed. and place your hands palm down under your lower back/hips. then left one leg up and keep other leg about 6 inches above the ground then switch, keeping your feet from touching the ground.

those are some good belly workers. for your butt try running/ climbing stairs ....alot..
also do alot of cardio running and sprinting.
do not drink soda.. try to take in less fat and less carbs in your diet.

hope it helps :)

Please help!!! i need to tone up...?

First off if you have never been to fitness magzine's website, try there. The best thing for your abs is cruches. It's kind of like a half sit-up. You keep your low back on the floor and lift up with your hands behind your head and your chin facing up. Try about 3 sets of 7 and see where that gets you. i know one for thighs but that website will explain it better.

You can get toned from working out at home. However, since you most likely have limited equipment, it is easier to get toned by going to a gym.My sister has worked out for years at home and last year started going to the gym. She discusses her personal experience with working at home vs. working out at a gym in this article. Here is a snip it of her discussing her results from working out at home:“As I talked about in Cardio Body vs. Weightlifting Body, when I first started working out, I only did cardio from my house. I would alternate between running on the treadmill, going on the elliptical, and doing the workout DVD, TurboFire . I did this for years and paired it with a strict diet. This combo helped me lose around 30 pounds.I was thrilled with my results, but I eventually hit a plateau and decided to start incorporating weights into my workouts. I started following workout routines on YouTube geared towards the upper body, abs, and legs. I noticed some muscle starting to develop, but since I didn’t have a bunch of weight machines, I was still limited to what I could do.”Here is a snip it of her discussing her results so far working at a gym:“I’ve been going to the gym for a year now and within that year, I’ve been a member of three different gyms. I’ve fallen in love with working out at a gym! I can do WAY more exercises than I could when I was working out at home and my body has become more toned and sculpted. When I worked out from home, I lost fat and put on a very small amount of muscle. However, I got to a point where I wasn’t seeing any new results from my workouts. This is why I started working out at a gym and incorporating more weightlifting into my workouts. Going to the gym has made it easy for me to target every major muscle group because I have all the equipment I need.Once I started working out at a gym, I noticed my body transform quickly—I gained lean muscle within a couple of weeks of lifting! Another great thing about working out at a gym is if you feel like you’ve hit a plateau, you can start using other pieces of equipment to switch up your workouts.”Hope this helps!

Q is correct. You are gaining muscle by way of your yoga and weight lifting, that is a well factor. Even despite the fact that muscle weighs greater than fats, it is bigger to have the muscle than fats. You could have additionally hit a plateau, so possibly check out substituting cycling or aerobics on one in all your swimming days. Other matters you would check out is consuming four-five smaller foods in the course of the day. Instead of getting a massive salad for lunch, you would make it a small or medium salad then have the opposite part of the salad a couple of hours later. You would additionally reduce your dinner salad in part. Maybe don't forget ingesting inexperienced tea, as I heard it is helping with weight reduction. Also make certain you are ingesting plenty of water (7-eight glasses/day) and getting lots of sleep (7-eight hours).

I need some exercises to tone up & burn fat?

My ideas? Try to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. Work hard, but don't over 60 minutes at a time. Do planks and other abs exercises on alternate days.

On training days, do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.

The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!

Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.

Read magazines like Shape, Womens Fitness, Fitness, etc to get tips and to stay motivated.

Good luck and stick at it. This plan has lost me 20 lbs in 12 weeks so far, just go for it!

I need to tone up my stomach. Any tips?

Well I can help on both wants.
You want to shed pounds everywhere..and tone your stomach.
We'll start with the stomach toning..(note that if you want to fit into your old clothes, you have to lose weight almost everywhere, especially your thighs, legs, and hips.
Okay, so for your stomach thing...
Before you do anything exercising wise, eat half a grapfruit before every workout.
This will help you lose 25% more calories.
The most simple way to lose weight in your hips, is to hoola-hoop.
here's another exercise that will definatley work :
Lie on your back, with your hands tucked behind your back, raise your legs, and slowly lower them without touching the ground.
Do this 10 times every hour or so..
You will get used to it, and eventually you could be able to do about 30 a day.
Jogging helps a lot, especially if you're with someone,or have a mp3 or ipod handy.
Jog for about 30-45 minutes twice a day.
When taking the bus, (OC transpo)
[if you do] get off a stop or 2 early.. And walk the rest of the way.
Little things like that, will make a huge difference.
Don't eat heavy foods after 6-7;30pm, instead have a healthy vegtable salad, for snack, or a homemade banana milkshake, with no sugar added.
For breakfast have a boiled egg,and a piece of fruit.
For lunch,have a healthy sandwich,and milk.
And for dinner, try to have soup,subway..something low in fat.
And inbetween have snacks, like cereal bars, low fat yogurt, fruit.
Make sure you exercise,everyday!
Eating healthy is good, but burning and getting your heart pumped aswell, is perfect.
Make sure you keep yourself motivated, and when you feel out of breath, take a short break, and continue what you were doing right after.
When you're jogging, if you feel you need to have a break,don't.. instead speed walk,or just walk.
Focus on losing weight, but don't make it become an obssesion.
I hope for you the best of luck
p.s
swimming is great for your body, and eatting stuff like beats and spinach..brocolli is awsome for your digestion.

You don’t really need cardio. Try any of the workouts on the http://10in30.com/ site. You can do the “Lose 10 Pounds” exercises or you can actually even do the “Gain 10 Pounds” exercises. You will NOT gain weight just by doing those exercises. You only gain weight if you eat more calories than you need, which is what the Gain program instructs but in your case, you would just do the exercises because it is a fantastic program for “toning” or gaining some nice curves and strength, and confidence, and a well balanced body. Just don’t over eat and you’ll be fine. Or just do the “Lose” exercises. They differ in that the Lose exercises are lower weight, higher rep, full body. The Gain exercises are more about concentrating on muscle groups and really pushing yourself. Either way, you’ll love the way you feel and look. Let me know if you have any questions and how it works out for you!
