What is your favorite dessert made by your mom?

Moong Dal Halwa since my childhood, I am very fond of it but due to lack of resources I could never get a chance to try it but today while seeing this video I realized it’s too easy…If you too are fond of it then must try it guys. Describe your favorite dessert?

Mine is an ice cream sundae in a glass cup. Chocolate fudge layered with peanuts, ice cream and whip cream consecutively on top of eachother until the glass is filled, then topped with cherries..mmm.

Tapioca Pudding

What is your favorite dessert that others don't seem to like?

I have a deep love for Watergate salad, a mix of whipped cream, pistachio pudding, crushed pineapples, chopped nuts, and mini-marshmallows. It is lowbrow enough that some people say I should turn in my foodie card for liking it. And even people who seem to love other retro, unsophisticated dishes don’t always love this one. But sometimes, it’s just the sweet for me. And yes, I can eat a whole batch of it.

What is your favorite non-Northamerican dessert?

Classic French Chocolate Mousse. I learned how to make it at my first apprenticeship, it’s a delicate beast to create but once you hit that magic temperature and everything blends in just perfect? You have a dessert that can be used in many applications, although my favorite is just chocolate mousse served in a chilled glass. I was taught by one of the best French Pastry Chef’s in the country and his assistant was a close second. I learned how to make French chocolate gateau cake and we always had an abundance of fresh raspberries off of Oak Creek in Sedona. I saw so many mousse style desserts just in that one restaurant alone, one could never forget such wonderful tastes and textures.
