What is harder, art or drama GCSE? (and food tech)?

I think all subjects have their challenges and you will need to enjoy the subjects you do at GCSE so that you're motivated. I took art at GCSE because it's my favourite subject but it was A LOT of work, it's probably the subject with most homework because of the amount of coursework you have to do. Every school course is different but I had to do A1 size prep sheets and sculptures, not to mention the 10 hour exam(over 2 days) at the end of year 11. Basically it's a lot of hard work but if you enjoy it, you'll love it! Just remember to keep up with all of your work and don't get far behind, that's what causes all the stress. As for drama, I know that there's rehearsing and 1000 word essays but I think it's mostly done in lesson time. Same for food tech, but there's probably more writing involved with 'evaluating' everything you've cooked.

Hopefully this doesn't come off as daunting, if you keep positive and don't fall behind on your work, you'll be fine. And have as much fun as you can, good luck with your GCSEs :)

I really hate food tech?

Your question gives us no clue what you're talking about. When I first saw the headline, I thought you were talking about a degree program. After reading the question, I suspect you're talking about a cooperative living arrangement in which you have to cook periodically. (That's not food tech, by the way.) Give us details of your situation instead of just saying you hate cooking & maybe someone here can help.

EDIT_________________________

If you're in college, you can just drop the course although you'd still have to pay if it's far enough into the semester. Just be sure it won't show as an "F" on your transcript. If you're in high school, just talk to your counselor. If it's a required course, you have a problem. Ditto if it's too late to transfer into another course.

Look at it this way - everyone needs to know how to cook at some point in his/her life.

I want to do an M.Tech in IIT. What IIT branch is food tech?

One thing I don't get is why people ask these kinda questions on Quora..I mean Google search the same sentence might probably give u way better answers!!Atleast a better answer than the one written above..:)Do your homework Sir/Madam, then ask relevant questions here..

What is Food Engineering all about?

Food Engineering is the field where the science and engineering principles are used to process the food, preservation of food and storing of food in order to improve it’s quality, taste, smell, texture to add value to the product. So, Food Engineering is all aboutFood Processing: Here, it deals with the different techniques and process to make some seasonal foods throughout the year, to make different flavored foods, different products from same raw product………eg: we can get curd, ghee, lassi basundi, kova, ice cream channa, chakka, kheer and so many other sweets from MILK by different processing techniques like freezing, homogenization, coagualtion, heat coagulation and etc.By food Engineering, we can add or remove nutrients as per our requirements i.e, we can alter the food nutrients like, There are people who are suffering from Diabetics, they need special food with less starch, we can make this through Food Engineering Principles, One more the nutrients needed by children, infant and pragnents can be provided by Food Engineering Principles. In this Food Engineering plays key role.Food Preservation, it is important to store food for future, so, the characteristics of food preservation can be studied by Food Engineering.Food Storage , here the storage structures, their design and grain characteristics, conditions for storage like cold storage, ware houses and indigenous storage setups all comes under Food Engineering. There are many more areas where, Food Engineering deals withFood QualityTransportation of FoodFood SafetyFood Nutrient management
