London vs LA?

London: - Everything is in close proximity - easy to get around, esp. with the London Underground - I definitely take that for granted!- Oxford street shopping provides a range of high street to designer prices so it's affordable for everyone - There are several famous tourist attractions that everyone has to see when visiting London!- Endless choice of restaurants and theatres/ shows to visit - Plenty of clubs - very lively nightlife - but the West End is always overpriced LA:- Weather is mild and sunny :)- Everything is a lot more spread out - need a car preferably if you want to visit many places - The beaches aren't very clean, but Venice beach is still one to visit!- Plenty of attractions - Hollywood was a cool place but very dirty and the gulf between the rich and poor was clear- Night life is awesome!- The food was always great - had to take a doggie bag home on most occasions as the portions are extremely generous!- In-N-out Burger is WAY better than any fast food place anywhere - wish London had one !! (And I don't usually eat fast food ever) - so yum!Overall, both are very diverse in population and their attractions, with somewhat segregated rich and poor areas. Being a Londoner I prefer London a lot more; it's simply a beautiful city, but LA is still an awesome place to visit - I am lucky to have a friend who lives there so I got to experience it more like a local, whilst visiting all the tourist hotspots!

What is your experience living in London and Los Angeles?

Both cities are a cornerstone of humanity and is comprised by such a great melting pot of all cultures.London has a more conservative feeling where traditions seem to stand the test of time in regards to architecture and customs. It is a very expensive city with a cloudy weather. People are lay back and I love the underground house music. I still remember the Jamaican Carnival which was a testament of the diversity and inclusion that London is known for. Almost got hit forgetting that they drive on the other side, can you tell me why?Los Angeles on the other hands is more of a fast pace city where technology meet the stars. The entertainment capital of the world where dreams come true if you believe hard enough that you can achieve them. A city setting the trend around the world. The weather is always sunny with a landscape diverted from a neighborhood to the other. Traffic is hectic but we get used to it.I am a global citizen at heart. I always find something good to define each place instead of looking what’s not there. Both places are unique and amazing in many waysCome visit L.A. LAX transportation & City tours

What is the best city to live in for a singer/songwriter/musician?

The city you are located in is not as important as the content of your music. Especially if you are trying to become famous over youtube. You might as well stay where you are, and develop a unique voice before attempting to make it in a big city with a big music scene. LA is full of people who thought they could make it big but went unnoticed while hundreds of people jumped them in popularity. The same can be said for NY and plenty of other cities with a big music scene. Acoustic pop is extremely over saturated right now, and any city you go to will likely already have a huge supply of acoustic pop artists. The most important thing is developing your own voice and remaining true to what makes you like to play music, along with honing your songwriting and instrumental skills. Once you do that, you will be an individual instead of one of the sheep in the gigantic herd that is pop music.I have lived in Portland, Denver and Seattle and I have seen relatively small acts rise to headlining national festivals in just a year. Look for a growing city like Portland or Denver, and hone your craft.

New York vs Paris vs London?

London by a wide margin. I find it more manageable than New York and easier to navigate than Paris.
