But not all is lost! Today we’ll show you how you can recover these lost files that you hold dear from the catacombs of Android with two easy methods. With your PCYou don’t really need to have root access on your Android device to be able to retrieve the lost files, videos or pictures from your smartphone or tablet. What you will need though is a computer and a program such as GT Recovery for Windows.• Connect your device to the PC. Here’s another tip: with GT Recovery you can also check many files to be able to recover them all at the same time. With an appMany apps allow you to do the entire procedure right from your Android device, but you need to have root access in advance. An recommendable app is GT Recovery for Android, which allow you to dig up files from the internal storage or micro SD card. The functions are similar to the PC procedure mentioned above. Simply start a scan of your device, and then select the files that you want to recover. You can easily preview the pictures and videos that were deleted.

My Samsung Galaxy s6 phone vibrates randomly, even on silent/do not disturb mode and on in flight mode. Can anyone tell me what may be causing it?

my thinking is that your smart-phones vibration module is damaged/broken. So now it doesn't know when to and not to trigger a vibration & so vibrates randomly, as if it's got no brains. The other thing i think it can be is that Android on your phone is corrupted. This u hope it is as it can be fixed with a factory reset. Return the phone to default stock settings and if the vibrations disappear that is the likely cause. With Android corruption, files or data can change, for the worst, and things break down. It can be small things like this app not working properly, or system slows to a crawl...to big things like not being able to boot-up or a totally use-less OS etc. So in this case, ur phone vibrates for no reason at or when it's not supposed to cuz the 'System' has gone haywire, sending false signals to the vibration sensor or module...or ghost signals that don't exist.try to go into your phones 'Safe Mode' first. Google it if u don't know how to get in it. Then see if the symptoms remain, if it still vibrates. If it stops, then u know one of your Apps is the root cause. Safe Mode stops ALL user downloaded applications from running, & only system apps are allowed to run. If Safe Mode doesn't cut it, then try a 'factory reset'. This takes ur phone to stock, but u will lose all your data, unless u back it up first. Try to flash a new stock firmware if  u know how. hope this helps u...

Will connecting a speaker (say, 5.1 speaker system) cause any damage to the mobile phone/3mm jack?

I tried to connect my Moto G4 plus with 5.1 Speakers system. Now the sound system of my mobile is behaving abnormaly. My earpiece is not working, i.e. I can't hear anything while on a call, I have to use the Loudspeaker option for that. While listening to songs on mobile through earphones, I have to adjust the audio jack to make it sound clear. Without earphones, there's no audio for any songs or video. Also, no notification sounds. The only notification sound it gives is when I receive a call. This is really strange. To add on top of that, my microphone also doesn't work.I'll have to take my phone to service center to get it checked.Note that it's not just my phone that got affected. My brother, who has Samsung Galaxy S4, is facing the same issue. So I'll caution everyone, think twice before connecting your mobile to external speakers via audio jack.

Geico Caveman Ringer: Anyone know where to find a Geico ringtone?

The tune you are looking for is by Royksopp - Remind me. Find the mp3 or buy the CD(it's great CD by the way) and cut the 30 seconds you want for a ringer from it. Then upload it to your phone (if it supports mp3 ringers) and you'll have it.

Does Google Play Music need WiFi to function? If not, how can I listen to my music offline?

When I try to play music on my phone from Google Play music, on cellular data, I usually see this error message:(note also that the tracks are greyed out, indicating they cannot be played)I contacted Google Support in a live chat, and identified that playback works fine when I am connected to WiFi, but on cellular data it does not work. The support rep said I needed a “strong” connection (but for a long time could not clarify what that meant - more bars? 4G not 3G? higher bandwidth? shorter ping time?).I pushed a few times, and he finally clarified 3Mbps download is required. At home, my cellular data cannot supply that, but I will try when I am out next, and see if that’s true (kinda seems like he made up a number to get rid of me!).
