Game Add-on Installation Question

How to install Wow wrath of the lich king quest helper addon?

Download the addon from curse.com

Unzip it

Go to My Computer > C: > Program Files > World of Warcraft > Interface

Then place it in there, restart WoW, and there you go!

EDIT:

Well simply go to your map, questhelper will show you where all your quest objectives and locations are at, there should also be a little movable quest helper quest tracker as well. There are also icons that appear on your minimap.

The answer above mine doesn't know what an addon is.

How to install addon campaigns on non-steam l4d2?

There's no such thing as non-Steam L4D2. There is such a thing as a pirated copy of Left 4 Dead 2 though.

Why won't Steam install my L4D2 Add-On Support?!?

Perhaps its already installed?
may i ask what Add-On this is?
so far i know all are more or less updates that just download =o
Or else try reinstalling L4D2 (Not Recommended because of the huge file size)
but if its needed try too.

Edit:
Try Right click/Properties On L4D2 in you Games Library,
And check under the tab Updates if everything is in order (always keep this game up to date)
and check if they install it in the right folder on your computer.

Uhm so your saying your trying to install mods??
but thats no Add-on...
to install mods simply set the files from that mod in the L4D2 map in steam.
Example: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\left 4 dead 2
since Steam does not support mods itself you need to make sure that you yourself place it in the right map.

If I "uninstall all" on an Xbox One game, does it delete my save data, or is it saved in the cloud, ready to reinstall with the game?

Three years into the life cycle of the Xbox One, storage space has become a valuable commodity. The base model’s 500GB drive doesn’t seem quite so spacious when your “Ready to Install” list is packed with AAA games that can take up more than 50GB, and almost double that if you’re downloading 4K-compatible games on an Xbox One X.Unless you’ve invested in an external drive to increase your console’s storage capacity, you’ve probably experienced the feeling that comes when you’re forced to delete one of your games to make room for another. If not, the first time can be a harrowing — and confusing — experience. To help you out, we’ve assembled this handy guide on how to delete and re-install your content. It won’t make picking which games to eradicate from your drive any easier, but it will tell you which buttons to press to do so.Step 1From the Xbox One home screen, press the Xbox button to bring up the dashboard, then select the “My Games & Apps” tile.Step 2Highlight the tile of the game you’d like to remove from your hard drive and press the Menu button on your controller. (That’s the Start button, for most players.)Step 3Select “Manage Game” from the pop-up menu that appears.Step 4The next screen is divided into two parts. On the left, you’ll see each piece of content related to the game in question, listed under “Installed” or “Ready to install.” From the left side of the screen, you can also manage any saved data that exists for the selected game.On the right, you’ll see some details about the game, including its file size and a link to the game’s page in the Xbox Store. You can choose to move the data if you have another storage device connected, copy it, or uninstall it entirely. Choose “Uninstall all,” and the game will be removed from your hard drive.Reinstalling deleted gamesIf you want to re-install a deleted game, head back to the “My Games & Apps” screen. On the left, you should see “Ready to Install (X)”, with “X” signifying the number of games and apps you own that aren’t currently installed on your hard drive. Selecting a game or application will automatically begin the installation process, assuming you have enough space on your console. On the left side of the screen, you’ll also now see a “Games With Gold”…Continue Reading

How to uninstall LUI Addon for World of Warcraft!!?

There are two ways to do this.
1. use curse (easiest)
or
2. manual (if all else fails)

Option 1: Install curse from http://www.curse.com/client (not sure why anyone doesn't have curse these days it's the main database for wow addons). After it installs, create an account then log in. After you log in, if it doesn't automatically detect world of warcraft, on the curse client go to Tools -> Add a Game -> then select your wow installation folder. once it detects it, click world of warcraft on the left, and click my addons. there you should see the list of your addons. delete the addon and there you go, it's removed.

Option 2: Go to your addons folder, assuming you know where that is, if not C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns (X stands for the drive its installed on, most commonly C:\). Now delete everything with LUI.

Hope this helped
