Can you cancel a gamestop preorder and get your money back?
short answer: Yes, you can my experience/ long story: I pre-ordered the standard edition in July, and after some thought, I decided I wanted to cancel it so I could get the Special Edition from Amazon instead (Gamestop was sold out of the SE at the time). So I went to Gamestop, they gave me a full refund of what I paid for the original pre-order ($67). After a few weeks I decided paying an extra $40 for shipping/tax to Amazon wasn't worth it, so I re-pre-ordered from Gamestop again just last week. No problems at all.
Why do people buy digital games on consoles?
especially on PS4 or Xbox One, you can almost always find the game cheaper used on a disc. even if you live out in a rural area, some online sites like Walmart sells used games online. i only download digital games on Xbox One if it's free. otherwise, I always but them on disc new or used for resale / trade in value. especially if it's an older 360 game that works on xbox one via backwards compatibility, i will buy used if it's not a games with gold and almost always get them under $10 at various stores near me. is it purely for the convenience of downloading digital and not the effort of driving to a local store and checking out prices there? do you buy disc or digital?
What is the difference of gta San Andreas Special Edition and the Standard Edition for ps2?
On July 20, 2005, production of the game was suspended and the game received a revised ESRB Rating of Adults Only, making San Andreas the only mass-released AO console game in the US. Rockstar has given distributors the option of applying an Adults Only ESRB rating sticker to copies of the game, or returning them to be replaced by versions without the Hot Coffee content. Many retailers pulled the game off their shelves in compliance with their own store regulations that kept them from selling AO games. Rockstar North released a "Cold Coffee" patch for the PC version and re-released San Andreas with an M rating. The PlayStation 2 and Xbox versions have also been re-released in a "GTA Trilogy Pack" for Xbox and PlayStation 2, as well as a Special Edition for PlayStation 2 that includes the documentary film Sunday Driver. In other words,the "Special Edition" has no "Hot Coffee" scenes.
How long does it take for gamestop to restock?
I recently renewed my power up reward card and I'm looking at some games to buy online. I'm going to do the buy 2 get one free deal. My problem is that the games that i want are out of stock. How long does it take for online gamestop games to restock? The games I'm looking at are Brink and Dead Space 2 used and then Fallout: New Vegas used. FO: NV is in stock though. Also what do you think of the games i chose? If you think one is bad then recommend another! Thanks in advance!
GTA: San Andreas Load Game Glitch (Starts New Game)?
So it's been a while now, but anyway, I had installed MTA way back and updated it. Played with a few friends and then decided to play the single player. I played single player for a while (it was loading fine at this point). I then activated a few cheats, played around with that for a bit and since I was going to go for 100%, I didnt save with cheats. Anyway, I quit, and reloaded the good save that I had and it paused for a moment. Now, the intro to the game pops up, CJ at the airport. Loading the game starts a new game! I know that the Multiplayer mod and patching didnt affect the game, because it loaded fine, even after the latest update. I don't think it should happen, but the only sensible thing left, would be the cheats. Does anyone know how to fix this? A link where someone shows how to fix it? Research pretty much gave me no information on a fix, or even the reason why it happened. Thanks a lot for any help you can give me!
