Each song has it's own style and a good amount of english in it, Some songs, have like a little Western pop and R&b influence in it, so Im sure the people can relate to the songs in someway. And as for ur question the songs that got me started to get interested in kpop was 2ne1's Fire and clap ur Hands, Well a lot of international fans like 2ne1, and I just happend to be one of those international Fans that likes 2ne1. Im also a fan of other groups, but 2ne1 is the most popular kpop group amongst international fans in my opinion.
Why are old songs better than new songs?
I think the definition of 'better' in this case is quite abstract because it depends on the perception of each person. Like I love this song, you like that song we can not argue that the song is better. Between old songs and new songs, so each type of song has its own strengths. However, there are some things in old songs that new songs haven’t.The new songs are quite massively produced to create ‘a hit’, and the old songs seem to be more heartfelt from the author and singer. The lyrics are deep-lying and easy to get into people's hearts. It always contains a message that is sent to the listener, regardless of the topic. For example, You Raise Me Up has a very meaningful lyrics, as an encouragement to reinforce the loved ones. Or My Heart Will Go On about intense love even if it is difficult. The old songs make the better feeling for people and they will be never forgotten. The new songs can create a good feeling from the first time but then they are quickly forgotten easily and people will turn back the music has been familiar with their habit for a long time.One thing that new songs can never bring to listeners is nostalgia. Have you ever replayed an old song and you remembered: When you heard this song you were doing this, what used to be a habit of you? When we listen to an old song, all our memories come back, whether it is a happy or sad memory, we have had such a great time. The first time I heard You Raise Me Up is that I'm 7 or 8 years old when my sisters were having fun and listening to it a lot of times even though I did not understand all the meanings at that time. Listen to that song and image that I am a carefree child again at the present. That was amazing.The last thing that the old song was so immortal that so many of today's popular young singers had covered it, although with a completely different melody. That means the strength of the old songs will never died.
Which is better Hindi songs or English ones?
It all depends on your taste. Many people in fact 90% people listen to Hindi songs only.But I have really almost stopped listening to Hindi songs.Let me list the reasons why I have started to think that English songs are better-1.Nowadays almost all the Hindi songs have no meaning at all. Popular Hindi songs from Honey Idiot Singh ionly focusses on how to party all night,all day drink all night all day and say lies to your parents ,ditch your gf for another, judge a girl based on her eye colour,her weight etc. And the sad part is that almost all youth like his songs .3.Dont even get me started on the "meaningful" item songs like "Munni badnaam ,Sheena and all".4.Some hindi songs like which are sung by Arjit Singh and Ankit Tiwari are good but every thing is too much exagerrated.Hum tere bina jee ni sakte.Tere bin ka wajod mera..Songs like this throw people dealing with breakup and all into depression.5.Only hindi songs that I listen to are the old songs,especially those sung by Rafi jee.They are really very beautiful.On the other hand just please listen to some English songs by Owl City, Hannah Montana(not Miley Weirdo Cyrus) ,Linkin Park,etc .They really make you feel good,motivated and optimistic towards life,especially that of Owl city.Some of the English songs that I really like are-Tidal Wave(Owl City)Gold(Owl City)Numb(Linkin Park)The Reason(Hoobastank)This is the life(Hannah Montana)Nobody's Perfect(Hannah Montana)Breaking the habit(Linkin Park) and many more.

Definitely some of the more upbeat kpop songs. Can't go wrong with: Fantastic Baby (BIGBANG) I'm Da One (Jo Kwon from 2AM) Spy (Suju- I always run to this one as they keep singing about a girl running away from a spy xD) Let Out the Beast - Exo (pretty upbeat and you can imagine you're running away from a Beast, hehe ) 1,2,3,4 - Lee Hi Baby I'm Sorry- B1A4 (Somewhat slow but there's an upbeat in the background, I run to this song all the time!) Fly To Love- LunaFly- a rookie group but they ROCK. They have basically an English version of each song with is a major plus ^^ 아.미.고/ Amigo- SHINee- How can you not work out to them? Absolutely ROCK. Any of their songs would be great to work out too!
