Germans Certainly Know How To Drive Around In Style [spotted In

A German opinion about a Non-German wearing Lederhosen?

I am American. I have lived in Germany for over 19 years. Not with the US Military. I work for a German firm in Hessen. I have a traditional Bavarian 'Tracht' Lederhosen outfit complete with blue&white checkered shirt, shoes, soxes, etc. I wear this outfit to the Oktober Fest every year. Recently I was at a work party in a local German restaurant when a guest(A younger German guy from Hamburg of all places) at another table noticed that I am not German and proceeded to make negative comments. He said that only Bavarian Germans should dress that way, I was making fun of Germany, and that as a non-German I certainly had no right to wear lederhosen. My work colleagues have no problem with my lederhosen and it almost turned into a fight, but the restuarant owner knows me(Stammgast) so he told Mr. Hamburg to shut up or leave. Kind of ruined the night for me. Anyway I was just wondering what Germans think of this?

How can you tell what coloring a German Shepherd puppy will have?

I am a bit of a GSD novice and I recently started looking at puppies. I ran into a woman selling them, it was her second litter, and when I saw the pups, they were all almost completely black. The parents are the "normal" black and tan. The sire is a golden yellow and black and the female is more of a sand and black. Only one of the puppies, a female, has lots of tan on her (well, compared to the rest of the pups...). Is there any way to tell weither the puppies will be the golden yellow, sandy, or black? The woman who owns the dogs says all german shepherd puppies are born black. I'm kinda confused.

Can you recieve a reckless driving summons without being pulled over?

I recieved a reckless driving summons without being pulled over. I was at work on a saturday and came home to a summons on my door explaining that friday night I had been spotted driving recklessly and was due in court a week later. It had no other details, no speed, and no speed limit. I'm unsure what I actually did wrong so I'm not sure what to even tell a lawyer. When I spoke to the officer on the phone he asked me where I was Friday night and told me to come down to the station to discuss the summons. After I refused he became angered that I wanted to "make things difficut" I really don't know what I did wrong and the only think I can think of would be speeding. I don't want to spend the money on a lawyer but it looks like I'll have to. Any advice or similar experience?
