Which Korean drama should I watch?
The answer is so broad. It depends on your preference. I'll list some dramas which I loved. It's actually not in order.On going dramas:Doctors ( genre: medical, romance, martial arts. Park Shin Hye and Kim Rae Won as lead characters.)Uncontrollably Fond (drama about an actor and a producer which had a romance back then and meet again. Suzy and Kim Woo Bin as the lead characters. This drama is so good)W (Lee Jong Suk and Han Hyo Joo as lead characters. Genre: fantasy, medical, romance, manga)Let's Fight GhostCompleted:Splash Splash Love (only 2 episodes but damn good!! I swear. Brought me to tears and laugh at the same time. Best drama ever!! Genre: romance comedy, time travel)I Hear Your Voice (watched this 2 years ago and still fall in love with the main character, Park Soo Ha or Lee Jong Suk. Genre: court, thriller, romance)Mask (the plot is smart. I bet the writer is a genius! A kind of serious drama tho. Genre: thriller, melodrama, romance, heirs)Bride of The Century (sweet and bright. Genre: fantasy, romance, comedy)I think those completed drama are underrated, but it is much better than most of popular drama.There are some popular dramas which are good to try: Descendant of The Sun, The Heirs, My Love from Another Stars, Boys Before Flower, School 2015, Yongpal, Dream High, etc.
Who is your favourite korean actor?
I think it is very difficult to name one actor as there are so many. So I would like to divide my answer into several categories:Favorite actor purely based on excellent acting skills: Yoo Ah InI am sure everyone will agree his noteworthy performances showing wide range of acting in his movies and dramas such as Sungkyunkwan Scandal, Six Flying Dragons, Veteran, The Throne and many more.Favorite actor purely based on good looks and fan service: Lee Min HoFell in love with him as Gu Jun Pyo in Boys Over Flowers. He is the ultimate flower boy of all time despite his attempts to try different characters, audience seems to appreciate him more in rom-coms.Favorite Idol Actor: T.O.P ( Choi Seung-hyun )I know even though he has appeared in only few dramas and movies he instantly drew my attention. I honestly appreciate his sense of humor and uniqueness.Favorite Young Actor (Below 25 years) who is rising and shows great potential for future: Park Bo GumBo Gum has already proven himself as an actor with great potential. Being a 23 year old he has already cast in different roles which he excelled in all.Favorite Senior Actor (Above 35 years): Kang Dong WonEven though he is over 35 his good looks and attractive personalty complements his acting. Doesn’t get bored of seeing him.Favourite Entertainer who is excellent is acting, singing and even dancing: RainRain: First Korean actor whom I fell in love with for his performance in Full House.
