there is no need to take it to the sprint verizon or att stores. Go to www.straightalk.com and you can order a sim card straight from them. If you get a iphone 4 or 4s then you will need the micro sim, which it tells your real simple is for those two phones. Since straight talk buys their airspace from att all you have to do is put the sim card in and your good to go. You will not be able to imessage or MMS unless you jailbreak the phone, and there is a simple site you can go to that will unlock the 3g service without jailbreaking, you can google for that. This is very simple to do, all you really need to do is buy a at&t iphone off of craigslist and order the sim card from straighttalk.com and then buy a months worth of mins. The sim card cost $15, and the month of unlimited service will be $45. You should be able to find a used iphone 4 on craights list for in the 200 range. So save up about $300 and you should be able to get everything you need
Straight talk AT&T iPhone 4S mms?
I don't want to unlock my IPhone 4S. I have a sim installed for Straight Talk but my MMS messaging doesn't work. I read you need to buy a Tmobile sim to trick it to show my cellular data -APN- specifically. Any way I can fix my mms with out unlocking it?

Ringback tones are controlled by the carrier. Usually there's an app but if there isn't, it's probably somewhere on their website.

I see no reason to assume it would not.Of course, It assumes you bought it separate from your cell provider. As I understand it, American service providers often lock their devices to only support a specific carrier. If you bought it from a carrier, you’d need to unlock it first.I’m only not sure because we don’t have this service locking feature in HK,or at least as far as I’m aware.

If the device is LOCKED to a particular carrier, you are going to need to rectify that with Straight Talk and Apple first.Second, and this is the tough one, Verizon is NOTORIOUSLY difficult when it comes to activating devices that did not come from them or Apple directly. I had this experience when trying to activate an unlocked iPad Air with them a few years back. It took me about two weeks and ten hours on the phone to finally get them to activate the device, and that was after signing an agreement that basically told me that if I have any problems with the device or the network, I am on my own.

if its unlocked like most modern smart phones are then yes!!but a few things you should no first. You have to use the GSM version of straight talk. So this would be the version that runs on the AT&T and T Mobile towers. If you use the CDMA Version (such as Verizon) it might not work. You would be better off using the T Mobile one since ATT network is more crouded and there customers are prioritized over you. (at least I think you still get a choice) T Mobile is a great network and the fastest 4g LTE network in the U.S. (according to open signal) so you should have a great experience!!

Yes you can, as long as the phone itself has a sim slot and is no longer connected to the Verizon network. Also if you have left Verizon and still owe money they can shut your phone off once you activate it with straight talk.
