Why is flight simulator x glitchy?

Play on Microsoft Flight simulator 2004 since this is less cpu eating, Flight Simulator X is one of the most buggy simulators ever built by Microsoft, even the multiplayer keeps disconnecting every 30 mins or so, absolutely stupid...anyway the reason you can't fly on high graphics, this is because your pc at its current state cannot handle the graphics on fsx therefore you will need to invest in a Quad Core pc with atleast 4GB ram and a pretty decent graphics card.
I recommend getting a SP1 fix from the Microsoft Insider website, it should make the frame rates a bit higher, also just put it on medium graphics you should find that its ok ;)

Flight Simulator X Demo - Product Key?

I am looking to where to put the Product Key on the Demo. It never gives me a option to put in the Product Key, just says "your demo has expired." What do I do?

Flight simulator x speeds call out by tower?

in flight simulator x when doing free flight why doesnt the tower call out different speeds we are suppose to fly at? is there anyway i can get tht on free flight for fsx?

Flight Simulator X; is the size of the world in FSX like the real world?

I've been thinking about this and I've also googled it. No answer for my question. So I'll try here if somebody knows it. Ok, I know that the flight time is like the ones in the real world, but that doesn't mean that the size of the world is correct compared to the real one. If the producers have decreased the size of the world, they've also decreased the speed of the aircraft and then the flight time will be correct.

The reason why I'm doubting is that when I'm visiting my home-town/village, my aircraft, even a little Cessna is too large compared to the town.

I experience it this way; if a Cessna in the real world would have landed on a field of grass and covered 10% of it, it would covered 100% of it in FSX.

I'm not sure. Flight Simulator X is a fantastic game and covers an extremely high number of airports in the world, and I recommend it pretty high. I'm just wondering if somebody knows the answer of my question. :)

Can you play Mircosoft's Flight Simulator X on Xbox?

I have Flight Simulator X on my PC, and was curious to know if there is any flight simulators (not really combat plane games) that were on PS3 or on Xbox (I believe it might be Xbox 360 that my son's have). I came across the below website from Xbox and it made me think that I could download the game and play it on Xbox.

http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/Product/Flight-Simulator-X/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d8044d530935

Looking at that, does that mean that I can download the game to the Xbox and play it on there? Sorry,I'm more of a PS fan and don't know much about Xbox.

If you can, can you give me some step by step instructions on how to get the game downloaded and to play it? Also, does anyone know of any other flight simuators for Xbox for PS3? Thanks all.

Do you think Microsoft Flight Simulator X will run on my system?

no

FSX requires a dedicated graphic chip to work (properly)
an integrated graphic chip will provide very low frame rates with lowish resolution & picture quality.

furthermore, the concept that FSX is an old game (XP) is misleading.
due to the very concept of simulation, it requires a lot of CPU power to feed the GPU with enough data to "reproduce" the simulation.
reduce the memory some (6 GB is plenty enough for most home use) and get yourself a i5 or even the cheapest i7.

in fact your PC is very unbalanced (a lot of RAM & hD versus weakish CPU and only media grade GPU)
reduce the RAM
take a smaller HD (which, btw, can also be FASTER, b/c with the 2TB disk, you'll probably get a "truck" of a HD (big & slow)) & use an external (USB) HD for storage (also better from a backup point of view, rather then having all your data on one device)
get a better CPU (@ LEAST i5)
get a decent GPU

here is a link to a page on Tom's Hardware about CPU benchmarks under FSX; the weakest CPU listed is a i5 750 (roughly a i5 2500)...
