Gift Ideas For Friends/fall Back Gifts

Is it a good idea to give (ex?) boyfriend a gift to help win him back?

I sent him texts apologizing for what I said and for hurting his feelings. I sent an email with a picture of a card he had given me with flowers that said he will always love me, asking him to please call me, and I left a voicemail saying I'm sorry asking him to please call, all yesterday, he broke up Fri night and has so far not responded to anything. I've never felt so crushed and hurt. I even sent a desperate text saying I'm begging him to just text or call for one minute if he has an ounce of compassion to let me know if his decision is permanet or if he needs some time to think and I can't believe he has ignored everything!!!! Please help with your opinion if I have any chance or what I can do. He's always loved me very much but complains I don't respect him bec when I get mad I'm blunt and say hurtful things only to regret and apologize and I think I hit the last straw :(

What are the best gifts for your girlfriend?

Hopefully, you know her well and figured out what she likes. Keep ears open, as she might be complaining about not enough shoes, or boots, or whatever. You’re talking gifts as in items not time, affection. That needs to be there already. So here’s what I bought for different lovers. I bought knowing they needed these through observation and listening…1. Complete set of makeup with draws, brushes and to drawers to put her jewellery stuff…2. Other lover, I saw she was struggling at her own place were she didn’t have a table, with mirror and to put her makeup and jewellery but I fixed the lights. It’s similar to this one. When she saw it she cried, she always wanted one…3. For lover who loves taking photos and savvy socially, and fun with lots of friends, I bought this Polaroid camera, which can when you want to…prints out the photo right there and then…4. For another, I bought her a bag which she saw and I knew she wanted it.I can see her drooling over the bag..5. You can also buy jewellery..such as bracelet…Or…necklace..These are just some of what I bought as gifts. But the best gift is what she feels and only way is to find out from her. You’d know already if you’ve been dating for a while, listened, observed and asked question about her life, spent time with her to know about her.Just one final thought…I never bought my lovers gifts until we have been together for sometime, been intimate physically, sexual and there was a time that gone by. I don’t buy gifts in early stages and nor to impress a woman to date me either.Don’t buy gifts to ask a woman out and nor so soon. Let time past, 6 months to even a year or so.I have a very strong thoughts on this because it takes time to know someone and so, no use me investing anything like that if she doesn’t trust me fully, knows me well and we are not intimate romantically and sexually. My values are not going to be compromised that I would breakup if I find there is no trust from a woman and if she dangles sex like a carrot. So ensure you don’t go off buying gifts to a woman you’re dating and she hasn’t shown intimacy with you, trusts you, opens up to you, have intimacy in physically and sexually.Love is not just a word. Nor is trust. It’s an action and any who do not show it in action are already showing red flags for the future.

Is it bad to ask back a gift from your ex?

Yes. She never asked that gift from you.. Did she? If she said " Darling I want that diamond necklace for my birthday and I would feel terrible if I didn't have it" then you must take that back, because she forced you into buying it, even though you were not ready. However if you voluntarily gave her something, that might have made her feel happy, then its quite disrespectful to ask your gift back. If other girls come to know about this taking the gifts back habit of yours, they will never go out with you. I mean you voluntarily gave those gifts, it would be quite rude to ask back.. It means you were paying a price to be with her, now she will have to pay a price for leaving you. Any relationship is beyond give and take.

Multiple small gifts for my boyfriend on special occasions? (anniversary, christmas, birthday, etc)?

A few weeks ago, I was searching for Christmas ideas for my boyfriend and came across a Yahoo Answer talking about giving a small gift on every special day, whether it be an anniversary, a birthday, christmas, valentines day, etc. This gift is always something small just as a reminder of each other, like a key chain, a guitar pick, a rock, a little pendant, etc.
I looove the idea of starting this tradition, but I can't remember what the little gifts were called. It wasn't pocket gifts...as the matter of fact, i don't believe it even contained the word "gift." I can't seem to find the original answer to whatever question i clicked on, and I'd really like to know the name of this tradition/series of gifts so I can tell my boyfriend about it when he gets the first one. Does anyone have any idea what the cute name of these little gifts are? thanks sooo much in advance :)

What's a good USA gift to bring my Brazilian friends?

Food is a good idea if customs lets you take it. Try taking a hat or some other trinket from a local sports team. In my area we have lots of local artist that make pottery and glass items, like really fancy paperweights and sculptures and such so you could try to find something like that. Just make sure it's something that won't break while you are traveling down there.

What are good gift ideas for a 2AM assigned time for a 'Round the Clock' bridal shower?

For those who don't know - a 'Round the Clock' bridal shower is when the hostesses assign guests to get gifts for different hours of the day. For example, if you were assigned 6pm, dinnerware or something would be an appropriate gift. I was assigned 2AM... I have no idea what to get the couple! I am trying to stay away from generic gifts, like bed sheets or whatever, because other people who were assigned 10, 11PM or midnight are already getting that for them. ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! :)
