Given That The Vast Majority Of The Military Is Republicans Do You Libs Love Saying You

What are the top differences between a Libertarian, Republican and Democrat?

In simple languageDemocrat- Big government, more spending, social liberalism, pro choice, gun control, marriage equality ( for the most part , they support this) , raising the minimum wage, big taxingRepublican - Small government, less spending, socially conservative, anti pro choice, anti gun control, oppose marriage equality ( for the most part, they oppose it),not raising the minimum wage, believe in tax cutsLibertarian- Small Government, less spending, socially liberal, government has NO business to tell you what to do with your body, Guns are individual rights ,Government should stay out of marriages, legalizing marijuana, non interventionist , anti wars, privatization of social security , allowing the free market to decide the minimum wage, think taxation is fraud.Libertarians are of the opinion that you have the right do whatever you want to, so long as you don’t hurt anyone or take someone else’s stuff along the way.Libertarians are actually classic Republicans. Most Libertarians 30 years ago would have been mainstream Republicans . The nutcases you see today are NOT Republicans in the real sense , but populist whackjobs. Gov Gary Johnson was a Republican governor of New Mexico, Bill Weld was a Republican Governor of MA. Ron Paul who ran for President as a Republican was a Libertarian Presidential nominee in 1988.Even in modern day. Libertarians agree with Republicans on 6 to 7 out of 10 issues. But the 3 issues they might disagree with are complete deal breakers and poles apart from each other ( Government policed personal lives, foreign policy, war on drugs). The founding fathers of USA were libertarians in the classic sense- Example Jefferson, Washington, Benjamin Franklin.Modern day- Ron Paul, Gary Johnson.Image Source : Google. And don't forget ignorant!

Civil war between Republicans and Democrats?!?

In a hypothetical situation like this a question must be addressed before it could start, what would we gain from such a war? In Iraq whether you hate it or love it we gain a solid foothold in the middle east, dethroned a very dangerous dictator and we now completely surround Iran in case of war. A war amongst ourselves would cripple the world economy beyond recovery.

However if there were a war, the republicans would win in about two weeks. Consider if you will that 95% of the military is republican. Think about that, then factor in that the vast majority of police, fire and money are all conservative. Then consider private security contractors that would be hired for various reasons.

Then consider what the liberals, have. They thrive off money gained from tax of republicans, that would no longer be available to them, most aren't gun owners and have seen no combat experience. Liberals like parade and talk but when it comes to doing something they nearly always lose their swagger at the punch.

The fairy tail moron "godless heathen" who believes the stated that somehow a better educated person with guns would beat a trained professional soldier is laughable to the extreme and the byproduct of liberal brainwashing.

War is a nasty business in which only the tough and cool headed stay alive, liberals in the main stream have none of these.

Also, one would hope that the supposidly educated liberal would see these facts and want to continue diplomatic solutions. Because when it comes down to it the power base is on the right and the left is turning into whining dead weight.

Why do liberals like to claim that all Republicans are racist and homophobic?

People like Rush Limbaugh or Sarah Palin don't represent the entire party. Should I say that all liberals are pot smoking, hippies that hate the military? No I shouldn't because that wouldn't be fair to judge the majority based off the more vocal minority. Liberals also seem to forget that some of the most progressive presidents were Republican.

Should Conservatives give Obama credit for killing Bin laden?

I’m a card carrying Republican who can't help but laugh at how my conservative brethren ignore what was accomplished. Even with Republican Robert Gates (Defense Secretary) by Obama’s side, we conservatives are still questioning our Commander in Chief and the results of this effort. Whether we like it or not, he is our President. Bottom line, this could have been an unbelievable disaster – like Carter’s operation Eagle Claw mission in Iran 1980 that forced that Donkey out of office. If this had failed, we conservatives would have roasted Obama, liberals and every Democrat for their ineptitude. Instead, it worked – so give the guy credit – by all accounts he took a gamble – a huge gamble. The Seals did the dirty work, but credit goes all around – no silly tomahawk cruise missiles fired from miles away like Clinton.

Definition of Team Effort: Bush made a promise, put the wheels in motion and Obama followed through – PERIOD.

This time, Obama put the country first – and it’s time we start doing the same.

Start being Americans first!

Why do conservatives claim to be for small government, yet want to control people's private lives?

Another lib question that makes a wrong-headed assertion. Conservatives don’t want to control people’s private lives, they are concerned with public life. Some conservatives object to abortion, some object to gay marriage, some object to having transgender people join the military or use the bathroom of the opposite sex, some object to letting very young children choose what sex they want to be regardless of their biological sex, & some don’t want to cater gay weddings. The GOP isn’t of one mind about these issues and many Democrats are pro-life and against gay marriage etc. None of these beliefs are about controlling anyone’s “private” life. In the case of abortion- they are concerned about the life of an unborn baby. In LGBTQ issues- they are about asking whether private behavior made public can negatively affect society. We no longer really discuss these issues directly. They have become political hand grenades where the left lobs out questions such as this one and play the sexism card and identity politics. No one can truly be pro-abortion. I think most of us can all agree that abortion is a “bad” thing and that, ideally, abortion should rarely be necessary because men & women are extremely careful to avoid unintended pregnancies. Would outlawing abortion bring about a new wave of morality or fastidious birth control? or just a new wave of women dying from illegal, unsanitary abortions? They say “you can’t legislate morality;” we may be able to deduce the answer to that question. The libertarian conservatives want people to be free to live their lives as they wish. But realize that in so doing, societal issues affecting the public may arise that should be examined.Conservatives do believe in a small federal government with only the few powers given to it in our Constitution. Liberals are much more interested in controlling the private lives of individuals. The issues mentioned here aren’t about big vs. small government, they’re about personal freedom, life, liberty, and happiness, and a strong, united country. Somehow we need for Americans and our Congress to get back to civil debate on all issues that arise.

Why do republicans hate progress?

they hate science, they hate the law, they cling to their guns and religion

they just hate moving forward.

no wonder bush messed up the country!

he wanted to keep the status quo
