What are some really good books for a teenage girl?

Without any details, here are some books I have loved that I have read in the past few years.Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. This is one of the most enlightening books I’ve read recently. It’s a fantastic discussion of race relations, immigration, and the reality of being black in America. The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood. This is a great read for the current political climate. Written during the 1980s, it nevertheless tells a topical and chillingly familiar story about a regressive, theocratic society in which women have value only in bearing children.Challenger Deep by Neal Shusterman. Shusterman is one of my favorite authors, and I believe this to be one of his finest works. It explores the effects of mental illness in an accessible and enjoyable way.The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. If you’ve read it, you’ll know what I mean when I say that it should be a part of your life. Strange in the best way possible and funnier than most things.A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini. Another topical read, this book tells the story of two Muslim women, Mariam and Laila, and how their lives are affected by the Islamic Revolution. Masterfully crafted and a real tear-jerker.The Awakening by Kate Chopin. Protagonist Edna Pontellier learns that she can take control of her life and her destiny in a catharsis that eluded many women of her time.Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jake Kristoff. Not every book you read has to bring some profound revelation; some of them should just be fun to read! This one certainly is, especially because the story is told through various documents rather than a traditional narrative. And, if you haven’t read it yet (or even if you have), there’s never a bad time to read (or reread) Harry Potter.

Good books for late teenagers / young adult?

I am completely stuck with what to read next, I have read and loved Perks of Being a Wallflower, all the Harry Potters, Hunger Games, Divergent Series and others in the past like House of Night and Twilight but I don't know what to read next. I have borrowed the first Mortal Instruments from my friend but so far I'm bored with it. I would like to read something completely different which I can enjoy as much as I have with other books/series in the past.
Any recommendations would be great, thank you!!

What are some good books to read as a young teenager that most people don't know about?

Hands down, Keeper of the Lost Cities by Shannon Messenger. Here’s the synopsis for the first book:Twelve-year-old Sophie Foster has a secret. She’s a Telepath. It’s a talent she’s never known how to explain.Everything changes the day she meets Fitz Vacker, a mysterious boy who appears out of nowhere and can also read minds. She discovers there’s a place she does belong, and that staying with her family will place her in grave danger. In the blink of an eye, Sophie is forced to leave behind everything and start a new life in a place that is vastly different from anything she has ever known.Sophie has new rules to learn and new skills to master, and not everyone is thrilled that she has come “home.” She never seems to thinks she belongs, however soon it all changes. There are secrets buried deep in Sophie's memory—secrets about who she really is and why she was hidden among humans—that other people desperately want. Would even kill for.In this page-turning debut, Shannon Messenger creates a riveting story where one girl must figure out why she is the key to her brand-new world before the wrong person finds the answer first. As of now, there are 7 other books released, so you will have plenty of reading opportunity. I would definitely check this series out. It’s criminally underrated. Happy reading!

What is a good book for teenage girls to learn about the probable dangers in their life?

The women’s murder club book series by James Patterson, are great collections of books that teaches not only girls but also boys about the dangers and cruelties of life. It depicts the real world and how people can use other for their own advantage.Additionally , watching “FBI pursuit documentaries” can really help young people come to the realization of how dangerous our world really is, and how small innocent things can turn into great life ending threatening situations. (PS. They may be found on youtube, each about 45 minutes long)
