Is it safe to visit south Korea for Indians?

I am currently living in Bundang district.South Korea is one of the most safest places on this earth. So, you’re safe in south Korea. But there are other things Indians should know:Korea was isolated for very long time. There are still many Koreans who have never encountered any foreigners before. So, if might be possible that you are meeting a Korean for first time and similarly a Korean is meeting an Indian for first time in his/her life.Korea has a certain cultural and beauty standards. Korean admire light skin and do not like darker skin because dark skin was related to poverty, unhealthy and bad in Korea. So, as an Indian you might feel that they are racist towards dark skinned people. If you’re vegetarian, then start learning cooking right now. It is not a vegetarian friendly country. There are only limited number of vegetarian restaurants here, and Indian food is very costly and quality is also not that good.If you’re Hindu and able to eat chicken and other sea foods but not beef or pork then you can survive but you have to tell the people everytime not to put beef in it.Now about work culture, It’s bad. it’s all about work, work and work and long working hours, heavy drinking and team dinner. It gets annoying after some time.If you’re student, then prepare for your professor’s wrath. Professors here don’t care if you’re Indian or Chinese or Korean, they want everything to be perfect and precise.

What time of the day is it acceptable to say "good evening"?

Wishing someone good afternoon or good evening is always a source of confusion, especially if you live in a place where the seasons confuse you over a period of six months, when the sun doesn't stay up in the sky for a fixed duration. It's not about what your watch says that decides what time of the day you wish someone, except for one rule of the twelve O' clock noon. It's the availability of the sun in the sky that dictates the courtesies. So, from sunsrise to noon, its 'Good Morning' when you meet, and bid ‘Good Day' on parting. After 12 O' clock, it's 'Good Afternoon' on meeting and same 'Good Day' on taking leave. Now the question! How long does the afternoon stays valid and when should you transition to 'Good Evening'. It's simple, look up in the sky. It's afternoon till the sun goes down, irrespective of your watch's opinion. After the sun goes down, dusk onwards, you can wish a jovial 'Good Evening' when you meet and a 'Good Night' at departure. There's no need to fret over it too much. Just be comfortable, and don't lose confidence over a trivial matter.Keep reading and keep questioning!

Looking for sponsorship for a job or tier 2 general working visa for the UK.?

Hi, I've been applying for jobs in the UK for the past month and it doesn't seem likely at all that companies are willing to help me with sponsorship for me to aquire the tier 2 general working visa. I truly believe with my qualifications - MCSE microsoft certification - and work experience of about 2 years will ensure me of a aquring this visa.

I am South African, 22 years old. Can anyone help me, point me in the right direction to look for jobs that are willing to give sponsorship and assurance of a job to make the switch to the UK? I have been looking through the following websites - www.jobsite.co.uk and http://jobs.southafricantimes.co.uk/, but with no real luck.

It's extremely difficult for someone like me to make this happen with the exchange rate being R12 for 1 British pound. This made me think that if I can find a company willing to sponsor me to study, I can acquire the study visa and work part time for this company with the aim to make it permanent and paying back little by little the study fee and then by getting the Tier 2 working visa through the company after the studies. I need the sponsorship of finances to make this happen.

I realize a opportunity like this does not just drop in one's lap but I am willing to go very far to make this dream of mine come true. Can anyone give me idea's or show me where to look for help.

Thanks in advance.
Frederik

I had applied for B1 visa, my interview was on 1 August 2018. Below is the transcript of my interview.Me : Hi, Good morning Officer : Good morning pass me your passport. Officer : How many times you have been outside India ? Me : I have never been outside India.  Officer: So then, Why do you want to go to US ? Me : I have been invited by Google to attend a conference here's the invitation letter. Officer: what kind of conference is it? Me : It's for the individuals who actively contribute in improving the Google maps.  Officer : Why have they invited you ? Me : Because I am an active contributor on Maps.  Officer : So what do you do ? Me : Currently I don't work, I met with an accident, it broke my ankle and had to undergo two surgeries. What day of the week is best to pick for a US visa interview?

I understand your concern. It seems some days are better for interview, because maybe the interviewer would be in a better mood then or something. Well truly, sometimes emotions can get high at some moment, which can influence the decision of the interviewer as to issuance of visa or not, this doesn't have anything to do with any day of the week. You can go in at any day for your interview. Some embassies in some countries might even be the ones who choose the date for the applicant. Anytime you choose for visa interview, just try as much as possible to be your natural self when it's your turn, and don't do anything to irritate the interviewer.

My salary is 3500 dhs can i get a family visa in dubai?

Did you get a NoC from your company?
Some places work regarding the new rules already which are as follows:
AED 8.000 + provided accommodation and AED 10K without.

Btw: AED 3.500 is way to less to support a family. How do you want to manage any schoolfees? What's about any doctor visits?

As a visa officer, what do you wish applicants knew?

I work as an Immigration Officer (not a border officer) for one of the big 5 countries in India. Things we wish you knew:It is usually the applicants’ duty to submit all necessary documents with a visa application. Officer in no way is responsible to ask for any documents before arriving at a decision. We know when you have prepared answers by rote for an interview. We know when you are not a genuine migrant. We interview 100s of migrants monthly and can easily differentiate between a genuine and non-genuine migrant. We are not arbitrary in making decisions but abide by rules which are subject to fairness and justice. We need to justify our decision if we proceed to refuse you a visa.At times reason of refusal might be other circumstances happening in your country too.DO NOT submit fraudulent documents with your applications. We have means to verify anything under the sun. Also DO NOT make false submission with your application. If your fraudulent document or false submission wasn’t found in your initial application does not mean it will never be unearthed. There have been instances where people living for 5-8 years in our country even PRV holders have had their visa cancelled after discovery of their initial submission/document.Just because you are represented by a licensed adviser or an attorney does not necessarily mean your visa will be approved. But such representations help because they help submitting all the necessary documents required under the rules/law.Partnerships- we know when its marriage of convenience and we understand it with the documents submitted. There are times we have to approve partnership applications just because the documents and submission meet the law & rules of immigration although our instincts say otherwise (fairness and justice). At times no number of verification and investigations help collect evidence good enough to prove our instincts right. We try to be objective since the beginning unless documents/submission proves otherwise.Your age+ Type of visa = helps us decide a lot of questions to judge your credibility. No amount of abuses can help you get your decision overturned unless you refer to laws/rules which were not followed while coming to a decision.
