Good affordable FULL coverage foundation?
I've struggled with acne scarring as well. I tried dozens of foundations and the one I've found to work the best is Clinique Even Better foundation. It gives good coverage but still looks very natural. It also has a special formulation that is supposed to help reduce the appearance of scars, which is really helping me. It is $24 at a department store. I know that sounds like a lot, but I spent probably close to $100 trying out dozens of different drugstore foundations, so if I had just bought a high-end foundation to begin with, it would have actually saved money. The other advantage to going to a makeup counter is that they will match you to the perfect shade of foundation. You won't need to mess around trying to find the right shade because they have people trained to do that for you! I also use a CoverGirl Clean Makeup pressed powder over the top. It helps to set the makeup so it really lasts all day. Another key is the best concealer I've found yet. eyeslipsface has a cover stick concealer. It is only $1 and gives the best coverage I've found yet! Good luck.

I also use lose powder (from brands like Rimmel, Loreal, MAC Studio fix powder) and setting spray from NYX which makes it stay matt for longer period. If you want to have a little glow, use the mattifying products a use the Body shop vitamin E face mist. This would add the final glow :) Hope this helps
Can powder foundation provide good coverage and make skin look brighter and fresh?
I have very dry skin and at 68, I have a few deep lines in my face and smaller ones around my eyes. Clinique Superpowder Double Face Makeup is the best powder foundation I’ve ever used. Unlike the dozens of foundations in other formats that I’ve tried over the years, Clinique never sinks into the lines in my face. It’s buildable and the finish is flawless.I can’t use brushes anymore because of my dry skin. It comes with a round sponge but instead I purchased the Real Techniques sponge and use it dry, on the flat side, to apply the product over moisturizer. It wears beautifully throughout the day. I’m wearing it in my profile photo here on Quora and in all the photos on my Instagram account @athomewithcarolI think every skin type except oily can wear this powder foundation but it’s just something a gal has to try to see if it works for her skin. In my case, I can honestly say I’ve never had any skin issues wearing this product and I never wear a primer and I don’t recommend them only because they dry out my already compromised dry skin. If Clinique is not available to you, then I would recommend Bare Minerals. I wore it for years and loved it but my “go to” for some time now has been Clinique Superpowder.By the way, instead of fighting with under eye concealer that creases badly, I buy a second Clinique Superpowder in a shade lighter than my foundation and use it as my concealer. Best full coverage drugstore foundation?
Okay we have very similar skin. I am also oily and trying to cover some serious hyper-pigmentation and acne scars. I live in New Jersey, so in the winter I use Loreal True Match Liquid Foundation which is my absolute favorite hands down. It makes my skin look flawless. I've heard a lot of people say it isn't full coverage, but it's very buildable. It also works really, really well with the matching concealer and pressed powder from the True Match line. All 3 products run at around $8 but I am almost always able to find coupons! For the summer, I find that the Loreal Foundation doesn't stay as well as I'd like it to since it's so hot, so I used to use the Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation which gives very full coverage and truly lasts all day. But now that Revlon has come out with the Colorstay Whipped Foundation, I've been using it instead and like it a lot better. I find that it is more buildable, gives the same amount of coverage, lasts just as long, but it feels like you're wearing half the amount of makeup! It also blends a lot easier. These Colorstay products are great for oily skin (the liquid foundation even has certain formulas just for oily skin!) and for the hot weather, which is good if you live in Florida. If you like the Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse, I would maybe try the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousee (I think that's what it's called). It works better for oily skin. For powders, I love the Loreal True Match Pressed Powder and the Covergirl Clean Powder is really good, but my absolute favorite is the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder (and it's only $4!!). I like the Rimmel Powder because it gives a bit of added coverage and also helps set my foundation and combat oil. The other two don't really give any extra coverage. Hope this helped! The best powder foundations that I have found and are full coverage are: Lumiere Cosmetics Veena Velvet Everyday Minerals Matte and It bases Buff'd Cosmetics Concealing Meow Cosmetics Flawless Pur Minerals 4-in-1 These do not cake or oxidize like MAC. They do not break you out. They look/feel naturally flawless while providing full coverage even under eyes without creasing/caking. They also have great shade ranges and are free of toxic ingredients unlike MAC. Alima Pure Satin Matte is very nice but only light to medium coverage. Also check out valana minerals if you want something specifically geared towards darker complexions. MAC Fix + doesn't extend the wear of your makeup at all. It's like spraying water on your face and a complete waste of money like all MAC products. Make Up For Ever's finishing spray is greasy. Try Skindinavia finishing sprays if you want something that will keep your makeup on all day and also do away with powdery finish.
How to get a full coverage foundation look without liquid foundation?
Ok so I have a more oily tee zone but it depends if I just washed my face , my face will be dry for a good while but If not it gets oily. I use a powder foundation that works pretty well but dousnt conceal that's what I use concealer for. And I was wondering what I could use to give my face that full coverage foundation look I use cover girl foundation. It's in a blue pressed powder thing and I use revlon concealer. And I can't have liquid foundation, so what should I use to get that natural beautiful clear perfect skin look everyone wants? Thanks!

Full coverage powder that won't oxidize/turn orange?
I am thinking about trying Mac Studio Fix Powder because it is known for it's great coverage. However, I am not sure if it will oxidize/turn orange on me like other powders I've used. Does anyone have any recommendations for powder foundations that don't oxidize? Is there anything I can use to keep it from oxidizing (I use primer, but maybe there is a better one I can try)?
