What do celebrities do after when they aren't famous anymore?

I remember seeing a TV show about that on VH1. It was called "Where Are They Now" and it was hosted by William Shatner (who was a perfect choice IMHO).

It varies, of course. One pop singer ("Let's Hear It For The Boy") became a mother, devoted to her children. One actress (Julie from "Revenge Of The Nerds") became an evangelist. One glam singer (from Vixen) became an office assistant, and at the time the show was made, was studying to become a dental hygienist. Another actress (Maggie from "Caddyshack") became a major alcohol/drug abuser and cratered her life. A surf-rock band (The Ventures) moved to Japan, where they were wildly popular, and they toured constantly and made lots of money. One B-movie actor (Ronald Reagan) became President of the United States.

So there's really no pattern.
