What bands mix rock/metal with dubstep?

It's not their normal sound, but There For Tomorrow released a remix EP called Re:Creations which features dubstep-inspired remixes of some of their songs. Maybe you should give it a try? I'll put links to a few of the tracks in the sources. :)

Unfortunately, I don't know of any artists who mix rock with dubstep as their main sound.

How can I start mixing/producing EDM(Electronic Dance Music)?

I produce using Logic, but I've tried out a lot of other software including Ableton, FL Studio, Pro Tools, Cubase, etc. I'd have to say that out of everything I tried my top three are Ableton, FL, and Logic, and I decided to stick with Logic as I just like its interface and some of the software instruments that come along with it.
So, my advice is go with Ableton, Logic, or FL. Ableton is probably the most popular software for music production right now so that would be great, but Logic is my personal favorite so just try them out and see what you think
Also, I suggest taking some piano lessons. You have to be able to compose your EDM by playing something, and most commonly that will be the keyboard. I took piano for three years (but quit about 5 years ago), and although I'm far from being able to play any difficult piece, I understand the basics of music theory and know enough to write pretty sophisticated chord progressions and melodies while conveying emotion and making the song as catchy as possible. I also play the drums and have been playing for about 5 years, and yes that helped me a lot rhythmically but I honestly could have gone without all the lessons. A lot of people in the EDM scene can play instruments, and some compose their songs originally on real instruments before composing an EDM song (Zedd, for example) but a lot don't. So, overall music lessons are extremely helpful, but not always a complete necessity.
Lastly, get this synth: http://www.native-instruments.com/#/en/p...
It's the best VST I know of. I make pretty much all of my synth sounds with it.

Who is the dubstep song zombies by?

There is this really awesome dubstep song that I believe is called zombies but I could be wrong. At the beginning a girl is talking about a secret war between zombies and vampires or something. I can't find the song anywhere and knowing the artist would really help me out.

What do i need to do to be a techno producer?

Let me just start by saying: i love music. Its a very big part of my life, and i will do anything to become a part of it. I am 17 years old, and i have picked up a guitar for a long time and desperately wanted to learn, but i just never seemed to get any better with it. My newest ambition is to mix techno/EDM/dubstep/house beats just for the fun of it, as opposed to a single instrument. I have purchased a program called Reason 5, but its learning curve is incredibly large and im overwhelmed by its features, i dont even know where to start. If someone can give me good starter tips, some programs to use, some videos to watch, ideas, places/people that can teach me how to mess around on Reason 5 or even FL Studio, literally ANYTHING i need to know to get me started would be fantastic.

ALSO:
some helpful information: i think i would be making a lot of stuff like Pretty Lights, or XXYYXX, more than i would straight up Dubstep and EDM.
Here are links of the groups i am refering to:
Pretty Lights
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z8hXUWLxNmQ

XXYYXX
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-A1NyhwoiU

I believe Pretty Lights is cosidered Electro Swing (or at least that song i linked is) and XXYYXX makes very "Experimental" Techo. as of right now, those are my preferences, but i am very open to all kinds of music, and will probably be bouncing back and forth a lot.

I know that this is a lot to read and a lot to respond to, but you would be helping IMMENSELY if u did because this is seriously my dream in life. Thank You!!!
