I know ive read articles on how to make money from the stock market on GTA 5, but i dont totally understand it. Can someone give me a step by step on something they did to make money from it or something? Do you buy shares when prices are down and wait for them to go up and sell them? Which stocks are worth investing in? How do i sabotage companies?

So I completed GTA V and I did lesters assination mission during the main missions. Every one says leave them till the end and invest the big bucks at the end. This is a very common issue, if you have saved your game before investing in the Lester missions, you can just reload the game. If you had auto save on check if the game has saved at the last mission and try reloading it from there. If not there's no way of getting your money back.You can try making more money by driving cabs, robbing people and investing in the stock market. For ex: invest in a insurance company and then go on a killing spree.Or invest in one airline and destroy the other airlines planes.. etc

Good way is to play the stock market. This involves blowing up certain things to lower the stock price of something, buy stocks of it while it's low, then blow up things of the competing company to raise the price of the stocks you just bought. For example, go blow up a lot of AirEmu planes, their stock will plummet, so buy lots of it. Afterwards, blow up a lot of FlyUS planes to cause AirEmu stocks to raise, and then sell the stocks once you gain a profit from them. You can then buy FlyUS stocks since they will be cheap, and repeat the process.

It really depends how much time you spend in-game. So if you dont spend too much time in-game, i would say, stick with the import/export via you HQ building. First you ll need around ~$1,5m to buy your HQ bulding and another ~$500k for a storage where you will store the stolen vehicles. But here’s the deal, the moment you join a session, there will be a timer when you can deliver it. The best scenario is to first go and deliver your first vehicle(once you joined the session and the timer has expired)This is how the menu looks like, when you log on to your laptop in you CEO/HQ Building.You re gonna steal a vehicle first and then sell it right after.then you should launch one of the CEO/VIP missions from the menu, by pressing “m”, and then selecting the CEO options and then find CEO missions/events. From there find and launch “Sightseer” and “Bounty hunter” missions, you ll get $24k for 5minutes of work, sometimes even less if youre lucky. Then, after youre done with that, get back to your CEO/HQ building and source another vehicle and so on, and so on. It is rough, but thats the best deal you can currently hope for. Heists are the other method, but i dont recommend it if you dont have couple of friends to play with you, the lack of communication will just make it impossible to finish sometimes, and they patched the kuruma bug, so you cannot even get into the kuruma during this heist. And by the time you get to the finale, you ll spend so much time that its just not worth it, besides, we have played the Pacific Standard heist for hundreds of times lol. Hope this helps, cheers!

The stock market works in a set way with very small variations depending on your actions. Therefore the most effective way of using the stock market to make money, is to not do anything, have a pen and paper (or take a picture) of all the stocks, save your game then wait around 4-8 hours game time and check the stocks again for big risers, reload your save and buy the stock that went up most, wait 4-8 hours again and sell the stock. Obviously this only works for the LCN and would require you to do nothing for large amounts of time
