Guys I Have A Question About Internet Speed How Poor Is Mine

Internet speed with 50Mbps connection in gaming?

50mbps connection is one of the fastest residential speeds out there. You should easily have the lowest ping and strongest connection in online games. If you are running wireless this completely defeats the purpose of your high speed internet. Wireless depends on so many variables to run consistently and you will almost never achieve a consistent speed, one minute you will run at 30mbps the next you will be running at less than 10mbps. If you are running wireless then I suggest you get a ethernet cable long enough to reach your computer, or move your modem closer to the computer you want to use for gaming and use wireless on the others. To achieve the fastest speed run straight from your cable modem to your network card, don't run it through a router. <-- this is to achieve the very fastest speeds, if you have an older modem which isn't N rated than you will lose a lot of speed through your router.

My Airtel 3G Internet gets disconnected every 2 minutes and again reconnects. How do I solve this?

Th these steps-1.check how old is your sim ,if its old get a replacement.2.change the network mode to 3g/lte only.3.request for a new apn from airtel.4.check your sim by putting it in a different phone and if it works it could be the phone too.

How fast is 28 Mb/s download speed?

You won't find many internet providers that give you speeds greater than 50 megs. Verizon FiOS tops out at 50... I don't know about AT&T.
The speed you have is pretty good for just about anything you want to do. The upload speed is kind of slow though.
Speedwise, it's closer to T3.

Can someone have a high IQ but slow processing speed? A learning psychologist told me that I have great understanding, but slow processing speed. She said that my brain is like “a Mercedes running at Pinto speed.”

Yes. An ex-boyfriend and I had similar IQ's. We took some classes together at university. I was frequently amazed at the questions he would ask, because I had no such questions. How come he didn't GET it? I wondered if he was a little less intelligent than I thought he was.My brain processed the pieces, the information, much more quickly than his did, so much so that I couldn't tell you how I arrived at a conclusion without having to back up to examine my own thought process. Whereas his brain sifted through the pieces much more methodically and slowly, but he could tell you exactly how he arrived at his conclusion — without having to back up. I used to call him ‘lego-brain'.There are advantages to both, but for you — likely another ‘lego-brain' — your main advantage comes from piling up one complex idea progressing to another and then another. You don't have to back up once you get it, so as concepts that build on the information become more complex, you've got all the steps and processes in place to comprehend them. Whereas for someone like me, I'd have to back up and remap my thought process. My mind leaps two steps forward, one step back, whereas his mind just put one step in front of the other. We both arrived at the same place at the same time eventually!I like being quick-minded. People often think I'm smart (maybe smarter than I am) and nobody ever has to explain a joke to me! But my ex taught me a lesson. Those a little slower on the uptake are just as smart or smarter than me, and there really is no such thing as a dumb question. Somebody's mind is just processing a little differently than mine.

This Vodafone internet sucks. Could anyone help me to buy internet connection in Delhi?

really I didn't expected such kind of bad services by Vodafone it is the best network few year before, I am using Vodafone connection from past 7 year I switched to Vodafone as a prepaid customer than convert it to postpaid service, but you won't imagine my experience is the worse experience with such a MNC.after fed up with the Network/Costly services offered by Vodafone I set-up my mine to give-up the services & PORT to the other service provider, so I raised a port request, after one day of the request I got a call from Vodafone & a guy Named Lalit Gaur thakur spoke to me & offered me few cheaper plans( I think for while & then agreed to continue the service). this guy also suggest me to continue the existing plan till this bill cycle & new plan which has been offered to you will get activated by the next billing cycle, I agreedbut after my existing billing cycle only one plan get activated by them, & when I call them all there representatives dropped my calls after holding my calls for long time,So I have written a mail to activate the offered plan on my number, & see what response I got from them, they asked me for the details of the person who called me almost 10 days before How can I remember his name, Don't they have all the records.  they have not talked about the call dropped issue I am facing from there customer support end. they have written than wrong information shared if the executive shared wrong plan details is it my fault, is that okay if on the bill payment day, I write a mail to vodafone that I am feeling regret for not submitting the bills hope you under stand will they get satisfied In 5 days I only got single call & one mail from there end.I really screwed-up with the situation/problem created by Vodafone,/I am about to switch the worse service provider Vodafone & look how they trapped me, *******************************************************************I think In delhi Airtel & Idea is good Internet service provider, I haven't experienced there network but yes my few friends are using their services & they are quite happy where airtel is expensive & reliable, idea is cheap & reliable.

I have a really slow Dell a (Optiplex Gx60 Intel) desktop computer runs on Xp, help?

2.20 Ghz is not very slow. If you go to best buy many of the computes there are in the 2 Ghz range. Windows PCs tend to slow down the longer you use them. It is often recommend that you reinstall the Operating System ever few years. That is an option, reinstall windows XP.

However, XP is very old now and Microsoft will soon stop support it. You could buy Windows 7, it isn't that bad, although it can be pricey. Try running the windows 7 upgrade adviser on your PC to see if it will run windows 7.

This all might be due to a virus or something. Do you install all of your Windows updates? That can usually really help - and it's free. Also Microsoft gives away free anti-virus and it works really well and takes up hardly any memory at all. It is called Microsoft Security Essentials.

Finally, you could upgrade your ram. I do not think it is that big of an idea since your only running XP. But if you get Windows 7 you probably will want at least one gigabyte of ram. But ram is really cheap now-a-days.
