What to wear on the first day of high school? guys and girls opinions..tips on becoming a freshman?
hey, i'm gonna be a junior next year. a little bit of both is a great style! wearing all abercrombie or hollister is not unique at all. in high school you want to be your own person and have your own style. people will compliment you on that all the time. i like to wear one of a kind tops and jewelry pieces, or shoes with some cute AE or hollister jeans. that way it doens't look to "dressed up" for school, casual but unique. people who only wear abercrombie are labeled just like the brand. if you wear unique clothes people won't look at you as "another face in the crowd", you will stand out in a good way. and if anyone did label you as a goody two shoes, which i doubt, they'd only do that because you'd be dressing ten times better than them. :) wearing unique tops,shoes, and jewelry, or carrying amazingly cute bags is a great way to define yourself and you will come across as a confident person as soon as you walk through the door. high school is so much fun! as far as being a freshman and meeting new people, it is a great idea to compliment at least one person sitting next to you in every class. on their outift or whatever. they're gonna be totally nerveous too and will definatly appreciate it. plus its great to go ahead and make friends with people the first day, you'll be in that class with them for the next 5 months. i did this the first day of school and one of the girls i talked to in one of my classes ended up becoming one of my best new friends. oh and first day of school tip, never wear a skirt or anything. way too dressed up. and chances are you'll be doing alot of walking trying to find your classes. good luck!
Can guys wear white keds too?
Yes guys can wear white Keds too. I'm not a teenager anymore, but when I was I wore Keds then. I still wear them today. Some people might look at you odd, but screw them! Wear them, they feel good and you'll feel good too. I often wear my white leather Keds with jeans http://www.flickr.com/photos/39715038@N0... I don't think that will get you any weird looks, however if you look thru some of my other Keds pictures, some of those outfits might get you weird looks if you dress that way. JUST WEAR THEM.
Can guys wear moccasins out?
Yes guys can pull off moccasins! Moccasins are really comfortable and can be worn out of the house or to school. Ugg sells great moccasins although they are relatively expensive so I don't know if you want to spend that kind of money on moccasins. Minnetonka sells great moccasins too! You can wear them with pretty much any kind of regular pant: jeans, khakis, corduroys etc; Any color works for moccasins. Just pick any neutral color black, brown, chocolate, chestnut etc;. Should guys put up with wearing these ridiculous long "shorts" that are in style nowadays?

GIRLS OPINION: Is it gay for a guy to wear Toms?
It's not necessarily "gay" as gay is homosexual, but it's not the best look on a guy(my opinion.) I would rather see a guy in trainers or something else. I think Toms are extremely unattractive shoes. However, just wear what YOU want to wear and what YOU think is best for you. It doesn't matter what a girl thinks, you're wearing the shoes - not her. Is guys wearing running shoes casually attractive from a girls perspective?
So where I live Wearing running shoes (Nike Roshe, Adidas zx Flux, Nike huarache etc) is an extremely popular trend at the moment. A lot of guys my age are wearing them casually with sweatpants. I'm not going to follow this trend as I think they aren't classy and I think they're a bit too mainstream now. However, im curious to know if girls (teenage) find these shoes attractive on a guy?
