Can put Tape in Extensions in a ponytail?
Tape in hair extension, that's a massive no no... they say they last for around 4-8 weeks at which they only last around 3 weeks.. It is literally glue just sticking to your scalp and yes it does rip your hair out.. you usually only get tape in hair extensions for formals or weddings. You hair would have to be be-low or on your shoulders. not long at all, i would not recommend them at all, if i were you i could get weaved in hair extensions or clip in and you can take them out and put them in whenever you want. Although weaved in hair extensions pull on your hair and while wet, they are really heavy. The hair extensions i do recommend is clip-in hair extensions.

well i don't think the drawstring ponytail is strong enough for gymnastics or soccer because with all the movement it might come out, why don't you just try a few up do's with your natural hair that are cute enough. Most beauty supply stores sell clip-in human hair extensions. Sally's, a chain beauty store up by me in upstate NY, has them. The best thing to do is to get extensions best matching your shade, and then to exactly match them, take it to your salon and have them die the extensions to match your hair. Mine cost about 80 dollars, but most cost around $100. But they last forever and you can style them and treat them the way you would your normal hair, with fake hair you can't style it with heat and such. Now, I would suggest just buying the regular clip in extensions, so then you can use them for a ponytail AND when you want to wear your hair down, and you dont have to buy two sets. You cant clip them in the normal way and then put your hair in a ponytail, BUT there is a special way to put them in to make a high ponytail. The metal in your hair extensions will possibly beep, as in set off an alarm. I know this because my headbands & hair pins beep all the time. Chances are this will also show on the x-ray if your airport has one of those. You may be escorted to another area and waved down with a wand. If TSA asks what it is just tell them it is your hair extensions. The worst thing that can happen is a manual invasive "pat-down".
