Hairstyle From Only Lovers Left Alive

Directioners Vs Beliebers?!?!?

I would consider Beliebers to be the most dedicated fan base. Not only does Beliebers celebrate every time Justin Bieber gains a new million of followers but we have been supporting Justin Bieber for 3 years. There are fans that did leave when things got a bit tough and fans that left when they met a new artist or group that interested them more but Beliebers still remain supporting Justin Bieber. Beliebers has supported Justin Bieber throughout the Mariah Yeater case, when he got 5 tattoo's, when he got a dramatic haircut, when he had to cancel a show because he got sick, rumors and more which is why they are called Beliebers because they tend to believe in Justin Bieber. Directioners are a loyal, dedicated fan base but I don't see what they did that would make them as dedicated as Beliebers. As from what I have seen the One Direction fans tend to complain when they gain more fans and how their not their "secret" anymore. There are a lot of Beliebers that are One Direction fans but we did not choose them over Justin Bieber.

Have you ever had a haircut that made you cry?

I actually gave a haircut that caused a panic attack to me first and then my sister :PSince Sundays are the only day of the week that my sister and I spend a lot of time oiling, massaging and trying different natural packs on our hair, one day my sister came up with an unusual request of having her hair trimmed because we had no access to any good saloons at our village.Being her personal hair stylist ( french braid, fish braid and any other requested hairstyles) and with 5% idea of haircutting / trimming I nodded a Yes to her request. We both were excited, but for different reasons. I was excited because I got a chance to learn how to give a hair cut and she was excited because she could show off with her "new haircut'.Note : The length of her hair was upto her waist.I started trimming with a wide smile stretched across my face which was soon replaced with a worried expression. Her hair was trimmed in a slanting manner. I kept trimming it until it finally looked decently straight. The worst was yet to come.Me: Do you want a layer cut or a step cut? She: Layer will be great. But do u even know how to do it ?Me : Duh..!! I know how layer cut looks like. Wait n watch.*Moment of Leap of Faith*She : Fine.I sectioned her hair into three part like a professional hair stylist so that I could do the longer layers first. I started putting my brains to work and this is how it ended up.I started shaking and panicking while my sister who was totally unaware of what was happening was humming an old Hindi song."I have to do something or else she'll kick me to the farthest point", I thought.Me : Nidhi, layer isn't a great idea now because you still have split ends, I'll just give you a straight cut.I lied to save my life and probably that is the reason why I am still alive today. She : FINE. Don't ruin my hair.Final result as shown below. Her length changed from long to medium length in a matter of half an hour of creativity and wrong application.P.S : Little knowledge is DANGEROUS.Do not mind my amazing skills at drawing :P

How do you bring life back to dry, damaged, curly hair?

The answer to all this problem is "moisture moisture moisture". Curly hair is naturally dry hair so you have to keep feeding them with moisture regularly. Here are few things you can follow to keep it healthy and manageable.Keep your  hair well moisturized using good products that are silicone and sulfate free. Sulfates are detergents you find in shampoos and are a bit harsh for curly hair. It strips hair off of its natural oil and leaves it very dry. Silicone creates a film on hair and is hard to remove from hair. Heavy use of silicone products leads to build up on hair which do not let the moisture penetrate the hair. Due to this your hair gets dry over a period of time and loses its curl shape as well. Do not use any hair serum as these contains heavy silicone in more concentration. Use deep conditioning treatments at least once in a week. Choose products that has humectants in it for deep conditioning. Humectants absorb water and penetrate hair and retain moisture inside the hair.  Here are some homemade recipes that you can follow All natural home-made hair masks - Right RingletsUse cold pressed coconut oil to moisturize your hair and try to keep it overnight. Do not use heat on hair. Heat damages your hair cuticles and when cuticles are damaged then it becomes hard for hair to retain moisture as your inner layer is exposed and loses moisture fast.Protect your hair in the sun, wear cap or scarves. Do not use comb on dry hair as it might lead to breakage. Always detangle your hair in the shower after applying a rinse off conditioner. After wash, apply small amount of oil or whipped shea butter on hair after applying a leave-in conditioner. It helps to coat hair and prevent it to lose moisture very fast. It surely gives a moisturized curls.  Here is the whipped shea butter recipe Homemade natural shea butter moisturizer for hair and skin - Right Ringlets.Do not use styling products like hair sprays that contain drying alcohol like alcohol denat, SD alcohol etc. These short chain alcohol makes your hair dry. What can possibly go wrong if I wash my hair on a Thursday?

No you cannot! There's a logical reason behind it. Just like nowadays, women used to work the whole week taking care of her children, home, family, guests, relatives and what not. She was and is still believed to be the "HOME MINISTER" (literally). Now let's come to the logical reason behind it. We are told not to wash our hair on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. If you've noted carefully, there's a pattern. Leaving Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday aside, we are left with Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. There's only a day's gap between ,for example, Monday and Wednesday, "BREAK". Coming to the point, in order to give the HOME MINISTER a break, it was decided to follow these so called "customs". So that, the women of the house will not have to be bothered by the head bath everyday. Now I would suggest you to strictly follow these only if you wash your head everyday. Dude! you need a break. BUT I'm guessing you don't, so chill babe.On similar lines, you can think about the so called "customs" of not eating non-vegetarian food on Tuesdays and Thursdays to give your stomach a break. The food's healthy, but we all know, excess of everything is bad.So, if you don't eat non-vegetarian food everyday, don't say no to it on Tuesdays and Thursdays, GOD wouldn't send you to hell for it.
