Can anyone tell me what violence/blood symbolizes in movies, especially horror movies? Does violence/blood symbolize death? Also, is violence/blood realistic or make believe? Also, does violence/blood in movies symbolize Satan/the devil? I think that when a person strikes another person with an object, especially one that is sharp, blood comes out and it symbolizes death and that person might go to Hell and be condemned. Also, I like violent movies, but only if they have a decent plot.
