Has Anyone Ever Been To A Medium/psychic

Have you ever gone to see a medium/psychic? If so, how did it go? Any tips or advice for someone who wants to see one?

I did a long time ago go with a girlfriend to someone. She got a detailed reading and I don’t even remember if it was true. I could tell that the woman wouldn’t be able to read me. (She couldn’t).When I was living in Vancouver, the Iroquois boy who introduced me to my bi-lingual friend had another girlfriend who was from England. We all danced at the same club. That’s why the boy introduced me to the two girls…because I had been robbed and needed a job. The club backer let us live in a penthouse apartment for a while, but told us not to touch the alcohol because the place was stocked for international businessmen. There was a heated swimming pool up there on the roof. This was sweet. But the English girl apparently had a drinking problem. She read regular playing cards for me one night on a full moon. The reading was spot on. It was mostly about how my brother had figured in my life. It was a good reading. Unfortunately, she drank all the booze and shortly after we were kicked out.The only other person who has given me readings is the woman I met at a party. I told this story somewhere here on quora. I get overwhelmed at parties with a lot of strangers and was being invisible on the wall. Suddenly I realized she was standing next to me doing the same thing. We met again at the store where I used to sell my jewelry. She made things like artistic dream catchers and decorative sculptures from objects from nature and also sold in the same store. We decided to do a trade. She would do a reading for me and I would give her a Healing massage. Her first healing session that involved touch. She described in the reading that she had written on paper the incident of another story I told here on quora. It was the story of the beaver that came to me and the neighbor’s big black dog. When the beaver told me about the history of the beavers. Her reading didn’t include what the beaver told me, but it described the event from a spectators viewpoint. This kind of blew my mind. I learned a lot from her friendship. We had some pretty far out experiences together. She used to take me to places where she had had psychic experiences without telling me in advance to see how I would react. Of course I always react. I might not know what is happening at the time, but I always know when something is “in the air”. We would compare sensory perception with each other.My only advice is that like anything, you have to find someone that “clicks” or “vibes” with you to get a good reading.

I have been to a psychic medium several in fact. Some of them were good and some very good. My favorite was very accurate she predicted that the relationship I was then in, would last about 2–2.5 years but we would part friends. And that we would both have someone else later on. He did and I am now currently in a new relationship. So very accurate. She was also right in that it the ex would be in a relationship before I was. Another Psychic medium at the church I go to (spiritualist Church) predicted the ex would come nosing around and interested in giving us a second try right around the time I would be in a new relationship. Again accurate. I could go on. I myself am a Reader and can’t tell you how many times my clients have told me that I was right on about things I have told them were true and happened. So hang in there if you have had readings that were not good or just soso. All readers just like you have good days on the job and bad days it is not always they are simply not good. Don’t get a reading when Mercury is retrograde. The worst readings I have received from others have been during mercury retrograde and I can say the ones I have felt I did poorly for a client have been during Mercury Retrograde. The planet Mercury has to do with communication. So since we are communicating with either spirit or higher self our ability to correctly hear see or feel the information may be impaired during that time. Also some people cannot read another. Have you ever had a message from a psychic medium that contained information only you and the deceased could possibly have known?

Yes and there was no way this lady could know what I was going to ask. I didn't even tell anyone I went with what I was going to ask. This lady would tape her eyes down with medical tape and put on a blindfold. She played a song about angels and we wrote our questions on a piece of paper and held it between our hands. When the song was over we put our questions in a basket. She then took the pieces of paper and rubbed them on her head. Anyways I had asked what happened to my friend. I didn't write her name on the paper just her initials. My friend had gone missing and it had been 3 years and they had not found her. It would not make sense for me to even know her cause she was homeschooled and didn't even live in the same town as me. We met when I played French horn for a college production of sound of music. She stood behind me and had the most beautiful voice. We became friends and then pen pals. Right around Christmas she had gone out to the mailbox and had been kidnapped. She lived out in the country and the mailbox was a hike from her house. Anyways the lady read me last she told me my friends comeplete name and said her name was no longer in the book of Life. She told me she would not tell me what else she saw but whatever it was it wasn't good. She took off her blind fold and tape and just cried. I felt awful for her for her whatever she must have seen. I felt awful for my dear friend that I would never hear from again. It was heartbreaking. I just broke down and cried too. She also told my grandma some things which were true and my mother and my sister. She is truly gifted. She also tells everyone they can learn to do what she does and all you have to do is listen to your spirit guides.

Have you ever been to a psychic medium who was right on things they couldn't possibly know?

Me, not really. I don't go to psychics myself really, and the ones I've seen in the past had either mistaken me for someone else I wasn't, or were frauds. I myself have had mediumistic experiences of a psychic nature, sadly though, I've never met a psychic I could say was legit enough to read me or about me. That's not to say I haven't met other psychics with their subtle abilities, just, no psychic has ever actually been capable of actually legitimately read me. At least as best I can remember now. My dad came close a couple of times, he said seeing into my head was like all his worst nightmares and gave him a migraine that drained him for a few weeks. He doesn't try to read me anymore, oh, and his abilities are similar, yet different, to the one's I've claimed over the time I've spent here on Quora. So, he has some medium abilities too, but like I said, psychics don't seem to be able to read me. It makes me often question the accuracy of their claims.. btw, I hate irrational frauds. Phonies, entertainment at best I can tolerate, but to claim psychic abilities as sincere without any, besmirches the efforts made by legitimate psychics. Anyways, hopefully this helps. Laters.

As a clairvoyant one can guide people into better options. But most people ignore you.As a healer you can balance chakras and give mild relief. But as an angelic healer one can go into the karmic records, see trauma, avoid karmic repeats and reorder life onto a cleaner destiny. Life that would normally be less fulfilling can be now rewarding, or at least more exciting.As a teacher I can link students to their guidance and let them discover life as something they can read and then plan to avoid unfortunate scenarios.
