Has Anyone Worked At A Casino

Has anyone here ever played in a crypto casino? What are your experiences?

n 2008, Bitcoin solved the gambling price problem. It offers instant money transactions without any fees, anonymity, a 0.01% - 2% house edge and more. Cryptocurrency gambling is on the rise with 890 million BTC wagered in 2016, a market value that has grown by 37% from 2015. Cryptocurrency gambling has become a choice for many. However, it still has not solved one major problem: transparency. Most casinos provide a method called a ‘Fairness Check’ to prove their transparency. However, at this point, Fairness Check does not work and casinos still have the full power to cheat against their own players. Play online game here https://casino.edgeless.io/#!/ga...

As a casino worker, have you ever seen anyone refuse a jackpot or walk away from a table without their winnings? What happened?

Guests leave money behind all the time, sometimes lots of it. Sometimes at the tables but usually, in my experience, on the slot machines.I have seen guests walk away from jackpots on two occasions. One we never figured out, the lady hit the jackpot, looked around to see if she was being observed, and then left. We still have that jackpot down in our audit office in case she ever comes back, but I doubt it. We tracked her play through the casino, but she never used a player's card or cashed any checks at the cage, so we have no idea who she was.We suspect the other guest was either a) wanted by the authorities and so didn't want to sign anything or b) knew we would intercept his jackpot and Really didn't want to pay whoever he owed money too. Same dirt of scenario as the lady but we knew who he was. Unfortunately the phone number and address we had on file was no longer valid. We still have that jackpot downstairs as well.Doesn't happen very often, but it DOES happen.

Has anyone hacked a casino computer?

There are documentaries about people who’ve exploited glitches in video poker and other machines by making a very specific sequence of plays. I’ve also heard from some of the techs about physical hacks people have done, inserting bent pieces of wire into machines to make them pay out or register credits they did not pay for.I believe the manufacturers often employ their own white-hat hackers to find glitches and exploits in casino machines so that they know how to stop people from doing it in the wild.Usually the people who cheat are doing it through a mixture of quasi social engineering and con-artistry. My favorite one I saw a video of was a woman who would spectate at crap tables and join a cheering throng when someone was winning big. In the hubbub, she’d get permission to “click” the high-roller’s chips for luck with her drink before she had to move on. Unbeknownst to the gambler was a piece of double-sided tape on the bottom of her coffee-mug that would lift a $100 chip off the top of the stack as she did so.The 5 Ballsiest Casino Cheats of All Time

Does anyone know if a casino is a good place to work?

My father as well of a lot of my family members work in casinos. They''re pretty good jobs! &you get lots of tips, depending where you work at.

My dad works Valet, and it's a more active job cause' he has to run or jog to fasten the pace, since at a Casino there is a higher demand for Valet Parking. &he gets good tips for a full 8 hour shift just in tips he gets around 150-200$ &this is just on a regular day, just think on Holidays!

A lot of my aunties are dealers &the said it gets pretty stressful on their hands, from dealing cards all the time, but they also get plenty of tips.

So, if you're just tryna make ends meet, or need some pocket change, go for the job at a Casino, there are also countless positions! &if you're very friendly, and sociable this could be a great job for you to network! (: Good Luck! &you can mingle on the job, who wouldn't want that!

Has anyone used a driving permit and/or school ID at casino to gamble?

No. You need a government issued form of identification. Note that you can get a state identification card at the DMV. Also, having a beard won't make you any less likely to get carded. Depending on the casino (4 of the 7 I know of I down here) they check IDs at the door. You can take your chances but if you're carded and can't provide ID you will be escorted out and may have any chips/slot tickets seized.

Can a jehovah's witness work at a Casino?

I work with someone who claims to be a jehovah's witness at a casino. I have a hard time with this because she is a total hypocrite. She is also a rude person. Doesn't show any apathy towards anyone. She doesn't interact well with anyone. It is almost impossible to carry on any kind of conversation, and I always have to initiate. I usually get one sentence answers. Can you help me to better understand this more so I can work with this person and not feel angry when I am in their presence. Thanks.

I'm 8 weeks pregnant and work in a casino where people smoke about 30 hrs. a week should I continue to do this

The first trimester of your pregnancy is the most crucial. This is the time that your baby is the most sensitive in its development. There has been a alot of research and study put into the development of a foetus in its first trimester, and it has been discovered that any activity likely to do harm to you will do greater harm to your unborn baby.
I am a smoker myself, but if there is one thing i hate, it's the lingering smell of tobacco smoke, and the feeling of not being able to breathe when the air is filled with it. Doesn't make sense, i know.
But seriously darls, if you want what's best for your unborn child, do both of you a favour, and quit. Alternatively, ask your supervisor if you can be put into a non-smoking area, so that you are not exposed to the toxins everyday.
The decision is yours to make, no one else can make that decision for you. But i believe that this situation is not healthy for you, nor is it healthy for your pregnany.

How does it feel to work at a casino and see someone win the jackpot?

Well, with slots jackpots it was always kind of an indifferent feeling. Bear in mind in the UK where I worked highest jackpots were £20k.Big ones were kind of fun, I would try to make a big deal out of it so everyone could see. But slot players are a funny bunch. They never seem to be particularly happy when they win. I often used to joke with the regulars that they weren't here to try to win.On games like five card stud we would have progressive jackpots, the biggest I saw paid was £180k. And when one of those was won, it was a right royal pain in the arse.Five card stud is usually a dumping ground for the less skilled, less enthusiastic or just plain hungover dealers. And when a jackpot gets won the security team reviews the whole period of play.Whilst the fact that the dealer doesn't show clean hands, doesn't give game commentary or doesn't shuffle the cards the correct way before placing them in a shuffling machine- all have no bearing on the outcome of the game. You could bet your arse, when security saw something done wrong, they'd want heads to roll for it.Ridiculous really, considering managers would walk past dealers doing these things wrong all day and not care.
