Has Video Gaming Become A Trend On Youtube

Should screamer videos become against youtube's rules?

I wholeheartedly agree with you, I've fallen victim to quite a few of them. I just recently had a friend who had internet on his phone pull a prank on me, and even though I knew it was coming, I still just about threw the phone across the room. I think it's one thing if you actually look for them on the internet, but it's another when you're trying to watch a music video or some funny compilation and the next thing you know, you're diving away from your monitor because some jackass put a weird image and an exceedingly loud noise in there just to scare you.

How to become a famous youtube gamer?

Hello , recently I have started a youtube channel ( January 2013) and I upload all round gaming videos. I have a wide variety of games and do not focus on anything specific. However with currently 69 videos and only 140 subs is there any way / advice that may be need to be taken into consideration for my youtube channel to grow. Currently I am struggling to get views on a video. I mostly get around 40-50 views on a video which is not a lot.

I need help guys to make my channel grow.

Is making videos on youtube a good "job"?

i don't think you will get a unique answer for this question, because if your videos become popular, and you will become popular, and you will get more money, else you won't get money. so first you need to think about whether you do the best....

and if you want to make gameplay videos, maybe you need below:

1. a good game capture device, I use EzCap game capture, click below link for more info:
http://www.amazon.com/EzCap-Transfer-Playstation3-Camcorder-Satellite/dp/B0058KLJOI/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1334746064&sr=8-3

you can use it to capture gameplay videos and save onto computer hard disk as mpeg files.

2. a good video editing program for youtube, I use Youtube Movie Maker to edit the recorded gameplay videos and post on youtube, you can download it from makeyoutubevideo.com, and view below channel for some online guides, youtube.com/easymakevideo.

hope above info could help you.

Do people get paid for making youtube videos?

Yes. And you DO NOT need a certain number of views or subscribers. In April YouTube opened up the Partner program to ALL users with an account in good standing (no copyright strikes) and a Google Adsense account (which is required if you ever want to be paid...you must be 18 or older to sign up for Adsense...or just have your parents put it in their name if you aren't).

Then just upload your first video and you can start earning! The amount you earn all depends on your audience. And you only get paid in $100 checks or more. My first year I only earned a whopping $10, but once my channel started to take off, I started earning more and more.

Just give it time and stick with it and you WILL start earning with time! And just remember...don't click your own ads. Google is really good at catching this and when they do you get banned from Adsense for life. I just like to give fair warning to all new Partners about this...I understand how tempting it can be sometimes! :-)

Happy earning!

EDIT: And you do not get paid per subscriber or view. You ONLY get paid when someone clicks an ad on your videos...and the amount varies by advertisement (ads are assigned randomly and change all the time). Some advertisers pay over $2 per click, others pay 1 cent per click.

Next big youtube trend?

Top 5's Top 10's Top whatevers have dominated youtube in terms of views recently.

I want to make similar videos BUT what is something you could do that would be similar in terms of the way the information is presented, like documentary style I guess, but not TOP ANYTHING?

I'm basically asking, how can I make videos like TOP STUFF but not. I want to make videos about cool stuff man, but I don't want to make a list. How else can I go about making educational videos that are similar?
