Have Been Playing The Xbox One A Lot Is This Bad

Is NBA 2k18 for the xbox one really that bad?

Depends on what you play 2K for. The MyCareer mode is absolute garbage, to beat it without paying real world money, you'd have to play over 2000 hours, a lot of which will be as a pretty bad player that does things like miss wide open shots and get beat in the open court by centers when you're a point guard. That's not even mentioning the incredibly stupid cutscenes that are unskippable.

Since MyCareer is so broken and most of the online play is built around that, most of the online play is similarly garbage.

They also ruined MyGM by making the first season scripted as well, including at least 2 forced trades that usually make your team worse. It was fun the first time, but it has no replay value and there's no option to turn it off.

Luckily, MyLeague mode is as good as ever, it has all the customization features that you can basically remake classic MyCareer mode through "Create a Player," automating all team functions, setting a player lock, and adjusting the player training (I know that sounds like a hassle, but it's honestly not that bad and the freedom to influence your team's roster if you choose more than makes up for it). If you have friends, this is also one of the best sports games for local multiplayer I've played in years.

Why is Xbox 360 bad?

Let me start off by saying that this is an incredibly biased question. Why would you think xbox 360 is universally bad? I mean it's probably not as liked as playstation 3, it's main competitor, but it's far from being bad. Still I would try to answer your question as best I can using cons for xbox 360.Firstly, xbox exclusives have not been as good or as many as playstation 3. PS3 has had a lot of really good exclusives where as xbox 360 has only a few.Secondly, and this is probably not a popular one, a lot of the exclusives for xbox have been first person or third person shooters. Shooters are to my belief better played with mouse and a keyboard rather than a controller. So any games that overlap with pc would probably be more fun on a pc.Keep in mind that I'm nitpicking here. Xbox 360 does have it's flaws but it's not by any means a bad console.

Is Putting My Xbox 360 In A Vertical Position Bad?

No, that is not true at all actually. I have been using mine in that position for about a year and a half and my xbox runs as good as it ever has. The only thing you have to be careful with is if you bump or jostle your 360 too much when its reading a disc. Then you can get some nasty scratches on your disc. But it is a very convenient position to have your xbox in because it saves a lot of space. Just make sure that there is plenty of room for ventilation behind your xbox and you should be fine. Hope this helps!

I have 150 Xbox 360 games. Is this bad?

It depends: Do you spend so much time playing them that you neglect your family, friends, job, health, etc? Do you spend so much money on games that you can't buy food or pay rent? That would be bad. If you have a lot but don't play them to excess, that's totally fine. It's your expendable income to use on whatever makes you happy. Now, you might want to sell ones that you know you will never play again, because that's a lot of games that are sitting around that could be turned into cash instead. It's your choice.

I've had a bad experience with Xbox 360. Is the Xbox One any better/more reliable or should I get a PS4?

I also had a pretty bad experience with the Xbox 360. It went through two power supplies in under a year. After a while, it stopped reading discs during gameplay. I would get a “Disc Unreadable” error when playing game discs installed to the hard drive and also even when I play digital games installed. It was awful.Because of this, I decided to buy a PS4. I've had a wonderful experience with the PS4. It's great. Granted, my roommate unplugged it and broke it. So, I've had problems with it. But those types of problems are all caused by human errors and nothing to do with the console being faulty in any way.About a year later, I also purchased an Xbox One. So far, it hasn't broken at all. The only problem I've had with it was the power button and the eject button stopped working. A hard reset fixed it right up. It's very durable. What I'm getting at here is, both consoles are extremely reliable if treated correctly. The Xbox One might be the same brand as the Xbox 360, but it is an entirely different console. It's ages ahead of the Xbox 360 and you shouldn't have any problems with it.You should decide what console to get based off other preferences. Like, do you like Halo or Uncharted/the Last of Us? Do your friends play on Xbox or PlayStation? Stuff like that. Both consoles are good. Don't let the 360 tarnish your opinion of the One.
